We increasingly are being asked by our clients to write up tickets for DNS requests in advance of our agreed upon launch times for new HS Websites. However, HubSpot currently does not make the CName address known until we start the process of connecting the domain. Since we like to get these addresses to our clients days in advance, this forces us to start the domain activation process very early...which will result in the System domain urls no longer usable. As a result, we have to let the client know that once we start the Domain activation process...their previous staging site will no longer be usable as all link clicks will be taken to their curent website. Is it possible to provide the CName information for a Website before the Domain activation process has started? Issues caused by this: 1) Often times the DevOps/Admins of our clients are overseas and syncing with them in real time is difficult. They prefer to have us setup a specific time for the DNS switchover and to have all the info upfront. Sending them an email or skyping at launch time is difficult. 2) Since every other website platform we know of seems make this information available well before any launch, the DevOps teams we are working with tend not to believe us when we tell them how we acquire a cname for their website. Its a little embaarassing for us. 3) Renders the original placeholder(system domain) website unusable for last minute testing prior to launch as teh menus no longer point to the system domain, but instead to the curent live url that has not had DNS changes applied yet. Note: The same information would be really useful for Redirected domains and for the Pre-Prositioning Information for SSL prior to starting the activatio of the Website
