We've created required fields you must fill out before moving a deal to Closed Won.   However, if you create a new deal directly in the Closed Won deal stage, you are not prompted to fill out the missing required fields like you are when you manually drag the deal to the Closed Won stage.     This "glitch" allows reps to circumvent completing the required fields if a deal closes right away. We've had to create a workflow to notify reps when these properties are missing, but this is a workaround that shouldn't be necessary. ...read more

Contacts that have an associated company appears in the list of contacts you generate by applying the "Associated company is unknown" filter if the association is not labelled as primary.  This goes against what I consider to be expected behaviour for this filter, which would be for only contacts without any associated companies to be listed after the filter is applied. Is there any way to apply a more granulated filter, or to conduct a mass-update of all contact_to_company association labels where the contact has only one associated company, either through the API or a workflow? ...read more

I'm not sure if this is a feautre request or a bug fix request. When someone moves section C into the slot between AB and D, I don't want C to be able to occur above A or B or below D on any other deals after that.   Opening another deal and having it arranged as DKLC or CBJ should not be possible.  I want my team to be able to find section C easily next time because they know where they put it in relation to other sections and it will stay there. This way they will eventually have all the sections lined up in the order they want.   When a deal meets the condition for a section, that section should appear in the user's established order so they always know at a glance whether a deal has a certain section or not. Right now when they look for section E, they can't look through the sections in alphabetical order, see that E is missing, and conclude this deal doesn't have a section E. Instead, they always have to look at all sections in the sidebar before concluding that E is not there because they can't predict where E would be located.   Before I enabled conditional sections, when I arranged my deal left sidebar sections in a given order, it applied to all deals. This is what we want to achieve with conditional sections too. Right now, changes only apply to other deals with the exact same combination of sections enabled. I keep dragging all my deal sections to the order ABCDEF...etc (our default order) but every couple deals I work with, I encounter one with a combination of sections that has not ocurred yet, and none of the arrangement information from other deals has been saved. Even if I have placed C after B on 10 other deals, if this is the first deal that also has section J, then section C might still be out of order in relation to section B. Another solution that's not as good but still helpful would be allowing the "reset to account defaults" button to apply to the order of sections (not just the properties in "About this deal"). If I could tell everyone to start by clicking that button, that would at least allow them to start from something other than a random order that is different on almost every deal. ...read more

Who Does It Benefit Marketers and Developers (because helping marketers is the developer's job 🙂)   Value To Be Gained This would allow for the possibility of a more catered page editing experience for marketers.   Description Currently, HubSpot gives the ability to limit custom modules to pages, blog listings, blog posts, and emails. I think this should be taken a step further, giving developers the ability to limit them to individual page templates as well, and custom sections would get the same capability. It would help eliminate clutter and let the developer help guide the marketer's focus to where it should be when creating a page for a specific template. Obviously for most page templates, you'll probably want to have all or most modules available, but for instance, if you're doing a documentation template, you may want to limit the marketer to certain modules, such as codeblocks, formatted lists, tabs, whatever the case may be. ...read more

I would love to see Workflows in a calendar view. I have some campaigns that have call tasks I want to keep at a certain cadence for our inside sales person, keeping the task list size manageable. By doing this I also have to manually enroll people at a certain number a day to do so.  ...read more

We have a lot of forms. As time goes by, new domains that we need to block from all forms crop up (i.e. new competitors entering the market, competitor's new resellers, newly discovered form spamming domains). It would be good to ahave a centralized log where we can fill out the domains we want blocked accross all forms. That way we only have to update one place.  ...read more

Would be great to have the smart rules from an email carry over into a template version. This way content/images/buttons/link/files can all be customized based on my contact owner from one email.   In our use case instance, each of a client's business development officers has an eBook. In the email, I want it to use the appropriate eBook cover image (it varies slightly between their 7 sales verticals), download description (so that it can be customized to that sales vertical), and then the actual download/file link that is specific to that contact owner. Hi, Current tag management in knowledge base articles in not complete to be useful.   It will be very useful to be able to display tags into an article. It permit to display informations "APPLIES TO:" as in the Hubspot Knowledge Base itself (example: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email-tracking/connect-your-inbox-to-hubspot) easily if we can add the content of Applies to into tags and display them.   2 possibilities: - be able to insert tags as it is possible to add video, callout... OR (for sure less time to implement this one) - add the tags into HTML code source of an article. In this way, easy to create some embedded code in javascript and to display them into an article   Without this tag display feature, we need to manage manually this "Applies to". It is a lot of stuff to do it for all existing articles then to maintain them.
