We use HubSpot as a sales CRM and one of the best features is email tracking. However, whenever I click on the email in my inbox, or view the email in HubSpot, it counts as a 'read'. This means, within sales, we can't trust the data and use it as a tool to measure engagement. Speaking to support, the only way to stop this is by blocking your IP, however my IP changes regularly, given I'm in the office, working at home or 'on the road'. As such, this is not a viable solution. Given I have the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in, wouldn't it better to implement a solution, within the add-in, that disables self open 'reads' whilst using that computer?
