The CRM task and deal creation as part of the marketing workflows is a huge help! But I would love to be able to include personalization tokens as part of the body of the task. Sales people don't have time to dig through mounds of properties to find information. Being able to include just a few tidbits of info in the task would be a HUGE time saver for everyone involved. The median statistic is available in simple reports. In most sales organizations I have worked for, they have required that a set of information is required before being able to save the customer in their CRM. As of now, HubSpot does not support this (according to themselves). My suggestion is that this is a feature that could be added so that sales staff do not save customers without important information being entered.  The major advantage is that sales managers will not have to promt sales staff to review all sales opportunities to ensure they have filled in the necessary information.  ...read more

Add custom properties something like SKU/Product # Allow the search feature to search by name or SKU/Product # Use a percentage for discounts... 5 %, 10%, etc Allow Manager to set Max Discount Amounts or ability for an approval from a specified sales manager or something. (Sales Reps will always try to push the envelope, to drop prices.) Connect this module with Marketing side so that the Marketers can use products companys are interesed in for Marketing Emails. That would be very useful if it was possible to define a default Hubspot Homepage by role or team. Nowadays, by going to Profile & Preferences -> General : we can define our default home page (deals, dashboards, website...). When a user is deactivated, we would like HubSpot to stop assigning any new tasks, contacts, etc. to these individuals. For instance, workflows that are setup to round robin new leads should not give these leads to inactive users - someone who is active should be getting the leads.   While removing a user completely would resolve the assignement issue, we like the deactivate option to allow the company time to reassign leads, review templates the user owned, etc.  ...read more

Just raising this idea on behalf of a customer.    The customer will be leaving their current role soon and will no longer have access to their current HubSpot account. They were looking to change the email address or HubSpot account related to their current community page. Summary Hubspot is wasting a lot of my time trying to mentally group together related email content coming from multiple comments from multiple other people at my company on multiple topics. Hubspot lacks proper email headers that tell Gmail (and presumably other email clients) how to group related messages together in the inbox.   Please fix this issue! It is driving me nuts.   Problem 1 Person1 adds a note to a Company XYZ or Deal XYZ and @ references me Person2 adds a comment on the note Person3 adds a comment to the same note ... and so on I go to my Gmail inbox !ERROR - splattered around my inbox, I see multiple messages from "Hubspot" with subjects like Person 1 mentioned you on the company XYZ ... other email messages Person 2 commented on an activity ... other email messages Person 3 commented on an activity EVEN WORSE, if the same sets of people are commenting on multiple other notes around the same time, the scenario continues and Gmail groups the emails BY AUTHOR by default and not BY TOPIC. This is the OPPOSITE of what any sane person would want.   Problem 2 Person1 adds a note to a Company ABC or Deal ABC and @ references me Person2 adds a comment on the note Person3 adds a comment to the same note ... and so on I go to my Gmail inbox !ERROR - now I see threads from Person 2 and Person 3 that are grouping entirely unrelated comments under the AUTHOR Hubspot (2)  Person 1 mentioned you in a comment comment about XYZ comment about ABC ... other email messages Hubspot (2)  Person 2 mentioned you in a comment comment about XYZ comment about ABC   Expected Results Hubspot should send email headers that group related messages by THREAD or by TOPIC, so that related email messages are grouped together by relevant topic. It is very hard to decipher multiple, active conversations from my Gmail inbox and I waste a lot of time going back and forth to piece it all together. I could argue for putting the topid identifier at a few different levels Note or Log entry My personal preference This would group together a "single level thread" of a Note in Hubspot, plus all subsequent comments on that Note in a distinct grouping in Gmail. Top level object: Company, Deal, Contact, etc. This would be better and help a lot, but is not as granular as I'd prefer.   Contrast current Hubspot behavior vs. Teamwork, or Github, or just about any other sytems that are sending multiple "threaded" comments via email. They all send email headers that tell Gmail to group related messages by TOPIC not by sender. For example, if multiple people comment on a particular Teamwork task, then all of the related messages are grouped together nicely in my Gmail inbox.   Looking at the source of the messages from Teamwork and Github, it appears to be the "In-Reply-To" and/or "References" headers in the email.
