Right now, merging a secondary contact into a primary contact might reenroll the primary contact in workflows that have already been completed for the secondary contact.  This does not make sense for workflows that are configured to enroll contacts only once and might result in unwanted behavior such as sending out marketing emails again, possibly months after they were intended to be sent out.   From my perspective, this is a bug, since the whole contact history (including workflow history) is merged and therefore the new contact contains all the information for a workflow to know that the contact should not be reenrolled.   This can result in a negative impact on the brand and an increased number of customer service requests from customers who are confused by emails they received unexpectedly. ...read more

As a previous Eloqua user (not saying I liked Eloqua by any means) I used to have the ability to add or remove modules from an email when building in the email creator. I find it a little annoying that I have to build a template if I need to swap or add/remove a simple module from my email. I feel there should be a master template options that allows you the freedom to add/remove/swap a moule as you please once you've hit the "create email" button.  ...read more

I often find myself using nested if/then branches in workflows to segment properly - I think being able to include multiple 'else if' branches would be beneficial. For example, I have the following workflow:  If contact is in list X and had recent conversion X then create task for HubSpot User John else If contact is in List Y and had recent conversion Y then create task for HubSpot User Jane else If contact is in List Z and had recent converstion Z then create task for HubSpot User Mary     This could be simplified by allowing users to create multiple branches in the one 'If/Then' as shown:   This would allow for easier if/then instruction without users having to 'waterfall' if/then branches within their workflows. It would also allow for a more robust 'catch all' fallback - where none of the if/then branches are satisfied.  ...read more

I wish you were able to receive email through hubspot. Seems to make sense considering you can send an email. If the client replies back it can only be accessed through my email provider. Makes it hard to send an email with a hubspot tracked attachments. I use Mac Mail which doesn't work with email tracking in Hubspot, so ideally I would have all my correspondence in Hubspot. Seems more efficient. You already have incoming and outgoing server access so why not? ...read more

The biggest pain point I have with sequences is that when you are going to enroll someone in a sequence, the time each email goes out and when tasks are created iare inherited from the current time of day. If it is 10:04am, all of the emails/tasks default to that time.   Example:       As it is important that emails go out at better open rate times, it would be great if when creating the sequence, that you can set default times for emails to go out. Currently I have to waste a lot of time setting each one manually.   As an example, a sequence of 5 emails might be set upon creating the sequence to go out at 8am, 1:50am, 4pm, 8am, 8am, and I would be able to set that when creating the sequence. In the instance where I am starting a sequence at 10am and the first email default is 8am, it would ignore the default as it is a time in the past, or it could set that sequence to begin the following day at 8am. Or you could simply have a pop up prompt that asks if the user wants to send it now or the following day.     ...read more
