Very often as part of an ongoing conversation with a client it's helpful to keep the conversation going by including the entire email thread.   Currently this can only be done through an outside email client like Outlook or Gmail. Why not simply add a "REPLY" option to the actions drop down menu in the timeline for any email in the timeline  AND/OR for any form submission?     If someone submits an online inquiry form and you see that form in a timeline, I would want to be able to do something like have a workflow and a task to assign me to reply to that inquiry. I could just go to the timeline, find the form submission and click to REPLY to that form submission. Sometimes we need to send previews to managers for approval or feedback on marketing emails. It would be great if (for example like in constant contact) we could add comments when sending a marketing email preview to the recipient. For example, "what do you think about the formatting in these sections?" or "What do you think about phrasing in second paragraph".   ...read more

It would be so much easier if we are able to import multiple different line items with one deal. Right now it's so time consuming because if one contact orders 2 different products/services from us, then I have to manually sift through the excel to find those contacts and enter those deals manually and separately before importing the contacts that only ordered 1 product/service from us in bulk.  ...read more

With the release of the style field functionality existing modules which may have been using content fields as styling fields currently do not have a path to migrate to the new style fields because existing saved data will not map to new fields within a separate field group (the Styles group). Please upvote this issue if you feel this is a necessary update for your team. This will affect the prioritization by the team working on the style fields functionality.   To be clear - existing themes and modules CAN ADD style fields. The issue is specifically that there is currently no migration path for data saved to content fields in pages, to be mapped to a style field instead.   Because of this we strongly advise marketplace providers to not replace existing fields in modules with style fields, but to only add new style fields or create a new listing for your asset. I think it would be particularly helpful to have the ability to make a global module 'Smart.' So you can choose the alternate content within the module itself. We have the ability to make rich text smart, but, It'd be nice if we could do this with the actual global modules themselves...    What do you guys think?    I just think it'd be interesting to be able to shift the structure of the module around based on a specific smart rule, instead of having to clone it or create a separate page/piece of content.   ...read more

When sending multiple marketing emails some contacts risk being recipients of more emails than intended. This because some contacts fit into several lists – this also suggest that these contacts are of special interest.   To guard against flooding these contacts I suggest a filter to find the contacts that have received a certain amount of marketing emails or more during a timespan.   Currently there are a few filters that can do a part of this: “Marketing emails” – to find contacts that have been sent one specific marketing email. “Contact properties” - “Marketing emails delivered” – to filter on numbers of marketing emails sent to a contact. “Contact properties” - “Last marketing email send date” – to find contacts that have been sent emails before, after or in between dates.   But using these filters I would need to create 35 different filters to find out which of my contacts that have received three or more out of the last seven marketing emails sent.   My suggestion is making it possible to select several emails under “marketing emails” filtering out contacts that have interacted with all the selected emails according to the chosen condition. ...read more

Our company has considered using HubSpot Messages because of the convenience of it being one less program to use. The problem, though, is that HubSpot Messages doesn't allow you to limit your chat availability to specific countries (we don't have the resources to do many sales outside of the US, so it doesn't make sense from a sales perspective to have chat available to other countries).   Without these capabilities, the Hubspot Messages platform is more of a hassle than it is a help. Right now if someone comes to a page via an ad and inbounds via a chat bot, they do not count as a conversion. This makes it hard to track true performance of ad campaigns since a chat bot acts as a form. ...read more
