Currently, when connecting the Google Search Console (GSC) integration with SEO tools inside of HubSpot, it doesn't give you the option to select which GSC properties you'd like to integrate with HubSpot. While SEO Tools will only pull in search data for domains connected to a given portal, meaning that there's no risk of data bleed across clientele domains, it may be concerning for some users– especially those working with agencies– to know that several of their clients' GSC data is technically connected to another client's portal. Having the option to select the specific domains/ GSC properties you'd like to connect while setting up the integration would be incredibly beneficial and would alleviate this concern.

My idea is to grant users the ability to set-up "structured data" on blog posts to help with SEO. Structured data is a system of pairing a name with a value that helps search engines categorize and index your content. Microdata is one form of structured data that works with HTML5. Schema.org is a project that provides a particular set of agreed-upon definitions for microdata tags. Structured data seems to matter more often now with search engines and help boost SEO.

It would be nice to be able to edit a canonical on blog pages. We have urls with and without capitals and fear that Google is seeing this as duplicate content. Hubspot supports canonicals but we need to be able to edit them.

For anyone trying to update older blog content, it'd be helpful to have alerts notifying you of potential 404 errors as a result of updating your page's SEO and URL. This is offered as a free plug-in on other domains and can: You can redirect errors to any existing page or custom link (globally). You can set custom redirect for each 404 path You can optionally monitor/log all errors. Exclude paths from errors. You can optionally enable email notification on all 404 errors. You can choose which redirect method to be used (301,302,307). Will not irritate your visitors if they land on a non-existing page/url. Increase your SEO by telling Google that all 404 pages are moved to some other page. Create a plug-in like the 404 to 301 plugin available on Wordpress. https://wordpress.org/plugins/404-to-301/

Currently, you cannot bulk edit SEO recommendations. It would be very helpful if we could bulk edit or hide these reccomendations

Hi, I've been working through technical site audits provided by organisations such as SEMRush and Moz to improve our SEO. The problem is that many of the issues which are flagged and raised cannot be fixed from within Hubspot. Examples include: - Title tag is missing or empty - Duplicate title tag - Duplicate content - Duplicate meta descriptions - Missing ALT attributes - Low text to HTML ratio - Low word count - Uncompressed JavaScript and CSS files (even though HS say they do compress) - Unminified JavaScript and CSS files (even though HS say they do minify) Since content and SEO go hand in hand, it would be amazing if Hubspot could work closely with these providers to make it easier for technical issues such as site warnings, errors etc to be fixed from within Hubspot.

Currently you can only choose one country as target market in the keyword tool. For businesses that operate in multiple countries "Hubspot" is useless for SEO.

SEO Keyword Optimizer should be more semantic. Google Search is becoming more semantic but Hubspot's SEO optimizer is not. For example, I added "Demand Sensing" in the keyword tool, while I typed "Sensing Demand" in my blog. The Hubspot SEO optimizer will tell me that I don't have any matching keywords in the blog post, while the two words are recognized by Google as similar meanings. It would be great if Hubspot's SEO optimizer can be smart enough to recognize the same meanings of different keywords.

It would be helpful to automatically add these elements, or allow our customers the ability to customize the head HTML of blog listing pages specifically for purposes such as this. Adding HTML link elements rel=”next” and rel=”prev” to various blog listing pages (blog author listing, blog topic listing, blog archive listing) to indicate to search engines the relationship between these URLs in a paginated series would be beneficial to SEO. This would prevent these listing pages from getting flagged for duplicate content. More on these link elements outlined here.

I was very excited to see the [Strategy] Topic Cluster tool rolled out this week; I'm in th emidst of re-organizing my content around topics and this just seemed like perfect timimg. Except... Apparently, I can only link sub-topics to my blog posts. I tried to link to supporting COS pages but selection was only to blog pages. When I enter 'Choose another post' (which is confusing because I want to add a page), the tool allows me to provide an 'external URL' (really? I want to link a page on my site...?), then it rejects the provided URL because 'We haven’t found a link from the subtopic content to the core topic content.', while clearly there are links to and from my pillar and sub pages. Is this designed only to link blog content to the pillar page? tl;dr It wold be very helpful if we could link other COS pages to the pillar page. Otherwise, great tool. WmFlanigan
