Scott from the product team here. We've heard from our customers that sequences reporting does not give a full picture of email performance, and customers must try to stitch this data together by viewing template and sequence reporting independently within HubSpot. To solve this, we're building open and click reporting directly into Sequences. "Hi there, I am working with deal pipelines. I would like to limit which pipelines certain sales reps of mine have access to. For example, when they go to create a deal I would like them to only be able to utilize pipelines that are related to their work. This could help confusion when creating deals and Furthermore, it would be great to have certain stages in a pipeline which then "hide" that deal for a later date. For example if I am close to closing a deal but my client needs some time before they are able to close the deal, lets say three months, I would like to be able to put the deal as deferred and have it out of my general work space for deals. Thank you!"

Is a feature to customize what days are recognized as non-business days being considered or developed? It'd be nice to set certain days to automatically skipped (not just weekends) when sending sequences.

It would be super helpful to have the Company properties carry over to the Deal when it comes to filtering an reporting. For example, if we're running a campaign and I have a property for leads (in the Company status), once those become Deals, there is no way to track that property any longer, outside of exporting mutliple views to Excel and using vlookups. Please consider adding this to the expanding functionality of the CRM! Thanks!

Hi, Currently eMail thread with sequence is only for gmail users. However we use outlook and hence each email is being sent separately without a thread of the past emails. For eg. I have a sequence of 4 emails sent over the period of 1 week ( sent every alternate day if I don't receive any resposne back from the prospect ). When the prospect looks at the 4th eMail, somtime the prospect thinks that we are reaching out to them for the very first time. But that's not the case. If we have the email thread ( of the past 3 emails sent ) then this would help us as well as the prospect. Looking forward to hear from you. Cheers, Sesha

I would want to see a way to override the deal stage percentage value and give the salesperson a way to give his personal estimate/feel from the interaction with the customer. There are cases that customers will progress in the funnel as expected but in complex sales (B2B or others), there are many cases where people will be very active - so progressing in the deal stage activities , but despite that, the salesperson estimate that the close/win probability is lower than what Hubspot will let it be by the deal stage. While I can do it using a custom field, it won't be included in the forecast with its weighted value so it won't be helpful.

I'd like to be able to personalize details from the sender into Sales templates. For instance, I'd like to start the email with: "Hey {{contact.first.name}}, {{sender.name}} here, from Instant Magazine." This way we could also personalize phone numbers of email addresses from the sender. Makes it a lot easier to create templates! Now you'd have to create multiple versions of the same email just to include a sender's name. It's basically similar to insert the sender's meeting link which is already possible now. Ps. Hubspot has told me about using 'HubSpot owner' but that's not reliable enough and it doesn't allow us to only add the first name of our sales rep (it's always first name & last name).

When creating prospecting sequences for our sales reps, we like to mix in automated emails with call/voicemail follow ups. Now, Hubspot supports the ability for these automated emails to only be sent on business days. However, tasks to call our prospects are assigned to sales reps over the weekend. Why can't Hubspot also support the option to make tasks only assigned on business days? That way, our sales reps are not given "work" to be done over the weekend. Also, sequences are not very effective if you cannot rely on a call task being completed on time, before an automated follow up email is sent out.

Because Hubspot is a customer relationship management system, i thought it would be good to have built within it, a better way for staff to review support and customer services documents when talking with customers. We are looking at setting this up outside of Hubspot in something like Microsoft SharePoint or even something as simple as Slack's version Tettra. Say, we have a two-steps sequence: an initial email and a follow-up after 3 days. The "Threading" checkbox is on. If the recipient doesn't reply and doesn't delete it, then everything works fine: he receives the follow-up email in the same thread, below the initial email. He sees the context - everything is right. But if the recipient deletes the initial email, then a big problem occurs: when he receives the follow-up email, he doesn't see the initial email in the thread. He's out of context. It happens because the subsequent emails (the follow-up email in this case) doesn't include the previous discussion. When we usually press "Reply" in Gmail (or another email client), our message will include all the previous messages as a quote. In Sequences, it doesn't. It's bad. Please, upgrade Sequences so the subsequent emails include previous replies. It should work like if press "Reply" button in an email client.
