We are using CMS Enterprise more and more to build out extensions and custom CRM experiences on top of HubSpot.   e.g. Advanced wizard style quote, advanced other content.   However, when linking to CMS Enterprise Membership restricted content the login will not work in the iframe overlay when opening these pages from a custom right-hand CRM card.   Meaning we have to do additional workarounds to open these pages in a new window, resulting in additional clicks for our users. ...read more

Hi there, I am currently testing your beta feature "campaign templates". I was very excited when I read about this feature and have created a total of 5 templates so far. Each of these templates contains a set of 3 - 7 assets. However, when cloning a template, I find an empty "shell" instead of the set of assets I had added to the template. Maybe I am using this feature wrong, but I had expected to clone a campaign and then having all assets contained as well. One of the biggest reasons people come to HubSpot is for help in their reporting needs. HubSpot Report Library is a phenomenal resource, however, I have always felt there is one massive flaw: so many of the reports in the library do not provide a preview of what the report CAN look like.   So often this is what you see:     The reason of course makes sense because after all, the data doesn't currently exist within the portal to be able to provide a visual of the report. That's why we'll often see some of the templates auto-filled with our information, while others remain blank.   Why is this a problem? Many people are coming to HubSpot for help, because they may not even know what industry best practices look like for reporting, or what types of options are out there for them. Often it takes us seeing something for us to understand that this is what we want and/or need.   The issue though, is how will we know: Which report might be the answer to our reporting need? What data is needed to be able to create this report? Currently, neither is very clear.   How can this be fixed? I think the fix could potentially be pretty simple. What if instead of getting this well-known error message:     We were provided with an example image of what the report could look like? It could then give us the inspiration we need to make sure we get the right data into HubSpot to be able to recreate this report.   Obstacle and Suggested Solution I understand that it could get confusing very quickly if some of the reports were to be auto-filled with our data while others are not. I think if there was some overlay text (like often seen within stock imagery) clearly demarking the image as an example, this could solve the issue.    Right now, as a Certified HubSpot Trainer, I have access to a Demo Account portal with fake data that often is able to provide the visualization a client needs to see how the report would look. Even with this though, often we find reports left blank due to not enough relevant data. I think if HubSpot were able to provide example images or better yet, an interactive report preview (similar to the interactive previews you can look through in the HubSpot Asset Marketplace), this could be a game-changer for any size organization.   I love HubSpot Reporting, and I hope a small change such as this could take it to even the next level! You can enroll contacts/leads in a HubSpot workflow from the HubSpot Visualforce component in Salesforce. However, many of our clients use Sales Hub in addition to Salesforce for sales enablement tools. It would be great for teams that prefer to work out of Salesforce (because they've been using Salesforce for years) if they could enroll contacts & leads in a HubSpot sequence from the Visualforce component.    One workaround is using workflows to enroll contacts/leads in a Sequence if you have an Enterprise account. But, this takes the customization option out of it for the sales team.   I would love a better way to accomplish this for my teams! ...read more

I would love to be able to add in the new association labels using a workflow - rather than needing to do this manually. this would enable businesses who have contact A who makes a booking and Contacts B, C, D etc who attend a course or an event flagged as attendees. so a business knows which are valuable contacts.   It would also be helpful to be able to use a workflow to send different communications to clients based on their association tag. ...read more

Submitting on behalf of a customer -  Currently, we're only able to receive real-time email open/click notifications if we're using the HubSpot Sales Chrome extension or HubSpot Sales for Windows tray app.   There isn't a way to receive in-app notifications natively on HS for emails sent directly via the CRM, and we aren't able to create a workflow triggered based on an 1-1 email open/click activity as well for custom notifications.    It'd be beneficial if there are more options around this area (ie. in-app bell notifications), esp for customers that are not using Gmail or Windows. We are heavy users of custom objects and use these for a variety of reasons. However there is key core functionality missing   Association of Tasks  On a custom object you can create tasks and associate them to the custom object from within the record. However when you click on the task from the task view it says there are no associations as seen below, however if a view the task on the custom object is is associated. This means to click through on a task associated to a custom object you need to also associate it to a contact or company record. This feels like an oversight rather than by design?    Filter Custom Objects  When on a normal object i.e. company or contact, the associations on the right hand side will have a 'view all' button allowing you to see all contacts at a company in a filtered table view. When on a custom object that option isnt present. Instead you can 'view more' this just expands the list of options but does not take you to a filtered table view. We sometimes have many companies associated to a custom object this makes it incredibley hard for user to navigate. See below:   Ordering of Custom Objects  For all core objects (contacts, companies) associations are listed by the order in which they were created, however for custom objects this is alphabetically. There currently are no settings to change this, this means key recent information will be lost when viewing from a company record for example as users will just see it in alphabetical order. Could this setting be added to change how associated recorded are ordered. This would actually be useful across the board and not just limited to custom objects     It would be great to understand if any of the above have been considered and if not please upvote    Thanks ...read more
