This feature request is to serve Sales teams to allow for better deal management and reporting. We'd like to be able to categorize line items by type and have the ability to calculate subtotals on a deal depending on the line items added. For example, if I'm selling my SaaS solution, and I have line items that fall under ARR (annual recurring revenue) such as subscription/license fees, and then line items for one time fees like service or implementation, I'd like to see a subtotal for each type of line item. E.g., "Total ARR" as a calculated field that sums up all recurring revenue line items, and "Total Fees" to calculate all one-time fee line items. Ideally, this would roll up into the deal total, so that we could see the total value of the deal that is closing and report on deals with recurring revenue to help forecast for future growth.
