Great minds think alike

Hi,    Apologies if there is an existing idea for this, I cannot seem to find one but have seen comments on other ideas that show me this is something that others seem to be struggling with.   I would like to be able to set separate permissions for my users for deals and contacts.   I am sure others would have different requirements, but for our use case, what we need is the ability for users to have different permissions: for Contacts: View Everything, Edit Owned Only, for Deals: View Owned Only, Edit Owned Only. (or Team Only for branch managers)   In our context, Real Estate, a Contact can (and will) have multiple deals with multiple users, often simultaneously.  They could be buying a property and selling an existing one, or buying multiple properties from multiple users. ...read more

We sell our time in 15 minut blocks, but - this doesn't work in Hubspot, as we can't use decimal numbers in the quantity field for deal/deal lines.  In my best opinion, this is a huge lack, that I really hope you guys would fix asap.  No webshop in the world don't have this feature, so don't quit get how you guys could miss such a logical part in your build.  Looking forward to a snap fix for this 🙂 ...read more

Hi all   We intend to create some custom company fields eg number of employees.   Can we filter contacts by their linked company fields? I wish to end up with a list of contacts to get in touch with.   It seems like we're restricted to filtering by only the fields at the contact level.   Thanks David ...read more

We would love the ability to hide/show columns when looking at the deal board view.    OR even if we added filters to hide all closed/won deals-- would be awesome if the kanban style visualization automatically new how to hide column.    In other words we'd love a way to hide the Lost/won columns and justfocus on the closed one. Currently there is an option in the mobile app to click text, which opens your phones messaging app and then when you go back to the HubSpot app it prompts to log the text. It would be great if this was available from deal records as well, similar to the call feature. Screenshot is of a contact record that would be ideal to access directly from the associated deal record. This would be helpful for sales associates who need to contact individuals regarding a specific deal while they are away from their computer.   ...read more

It would be fantastic to be able to create forms for niche uses that did not map back to contact properties.   One use case: You're doing a special contest or collaboration with a partner where you're  collecting information to offer a product/ service/ or contest that is not part of your core product.    Right now to do this, all of these custom/ niche fields must be created as contacts and map back to contact properties. ...read more

You can see in the attached screenshot that "Attachments" does not have a number next to it to show how many attachments there are. Adding this will make it easier to see, at a glance, if you have any attachments associated with that deal, without having to open the collapsible section.      Thanks 🙂   ...read more

We occasionally want to share the message/content of a serries of emails with other members of our organization so they can see the exact messaging going out to customers.  Currently there is no way to export an email message to share it.  Sending a test message, linking to the online version, or taking a screen shot are the only options.   It would be helpful if marketing emails included a feature allowing message export.  A PDF or image file would be fine for this specific scenario.   The ability to export the full email content (html, txt version and all graphics) would also be very helpful in other scenarios.   ...read more
