The new association labels feature is AWESOME, but we desperately need to be able to sync associations via the API rather than doing them one-by-one manually or via CSV upload.   Background: We sell SaaS products for ecommerce merchants, so our deals in HubSpot correspond to "stores" (or accounts) in our tools, and contacts in HubSpot correspond to user logins in our tools. We want to be able to use association labels to designate the level of user permissions each contact has for an associated deal/store and then use workflows to send emails accordingly. E.g. Joe Seller has a store called Joe's Store where he has admin level access, so in HubSpot we want to say he's associated with Joe's Store with the label "admin." We can then use a workflow to send emails that Joe will get but his virtual assistant won't, e.g. "update your billing info," "upgrade your plan level," etc.   We can't use a property for this very easily because Joe Seller might also be working as an assistant to his friend Mark Merchant, so he also has a non-admin user login to Mark's Mercantile Shop. If Joe just has a property called "Admin," it's not clear which store he's an admin of. Plus, workflows don't let you enroll a deal and then send emails only to associated contacts who have the "admin" property. So, association labels are the absolute perfect solution here!!   However, we have thousands of users and thousands of deals being synced from our tools to HubSpot all the time, and users can change their permissions at any time. To use the association labels today, I'll have to get our IT team to help me get a CSV file of all recently updated user permissions relationships and upload it to HubSpot daily, and even that won't eliminate the possibility of user error. When a user is deactivated - their Sales Hub user license should be freed up. The only way to free up the license is to remove the user from our Hubspot portal.   If you decide at a later date to re-activate the user - you should have to re-assign the Sales Hub license at that time.   This was a bit invovled to find and fix. I've excluded my IP from traffic analytics, since I'm an internal employee and frequently viewing pages. However, I still need to be able to test forms, but because my IP is excluded, they don't come through. I wish there was a toggle for certain forms to "allow exlcuded IPs." ...read more

In the "Single Object Report Builder" (URL with /report-builder/) you can easily "Compare Date Ranges" by clicking Display options>Comparison>Compared to last year: "Single Object Report Builder" allows Comparisons However, the new "Custom Report Builder" (URL with /advanced-builder/) which we use more often recently, doesn't have this option, right?   Please correct me if I am wrong, otherwise I think this would be a valuable feature request 😇 ...read more

2 years ago, another user proposed the idea of being able to add personalization tokens to documents before sending them out. It's a great idea, but apparently hasn't gone anywhere. I would like to propose that in addition to this, HubSpot develops a Microsoft Word add in that would facilitate mail merge functionality, drawing on the HubSpot database for the data. I would like to have this functionality to be able to do this directly in Word, because for contracts, which contain sensitive information, I have to save them as pdf's and then send them securely using DocuSign. So being able to create the document outside of HubSpot, but pulling the HubSpot data, would be important.   Without this funcationality, I still rely on Outlook as my primary CRM, since it's mail merge functionality serves this purpose well. But if HS had this functionality, I could ditch Outlook and just consolidate my CRM onto HubSpot. ...read more

In one of my clients' portals, we've built Custom SLA's for tickets. Now I'm trying to create a property 'Time until SLA breach', which is a difference between an actual time (ms) and a max time (ms) to work on a ticket. A workflow ensures this is expressed as either a negative or positive number.   Since it's shown in miliseconds, I figured I'd create a calculated property that multiplies it by 1 and shows it as a Duration. That works, except it isn't able to handle negatives. Seems to only be the case for Duration formatting. Selecting an (un)formatted number as output does show as a negative, but it would be fantastic if I could have something like:   -1 days, 4 hours   as the value. Basically the same that the Duration does now, but just with a negative sign in front of it.   ...read more

We want to make it mandatory to work with the products in the product library. At this moment there is no option to prevent users from adding custom products to a deal. Please provide the possibility to hide the 'Add custom line item' option when creating or editing line items on a deal. ...read more
