Hello Hubspot team, I'd like to suggest you this feature : adding Liquid syntax to the marketing emails. First, what is Liquid ? It's an open-source language created by Shopify (https://github.com/Shopify/liquid). It's used to create dynamic content. Why Hubspot and you should care about it ? As of today, you can only personalize your emails by using tokens. It's restrictive because it implies that 1) you need to have the right properties already set up 2) those properties are filled. You reach the limit of personalization very fast. Using liquid, you can personalize the text of your emails as much as you want. You can use if/then rules within your emails to display certain type of information, depending on tokens. For example, you want to personalize your emails based on the job function of a certain email list. It is also powerful for non-neutral-gender languages such as French, Spanish or even German, where you have agreement rules between adjectives and nouns. Examples with Livestorm using Liquid: https://support.livestorm.co/article/37-customize-edit-content-emails or Lemlist: https://help.lemlist.com/en/articles/4517753-how-do-i-use-liquid-syntax Yes, not everyone can use it. It's a power user feature (definition of a power user : https://www.kissmetrics.io/blog/power-user-definition/#:~:text=If%20you%20offer%20SaaS%20or,from%20challenges%20by%20their%20competitors.). But for people who know how to use it, they can push out the limits of email marketing.
