When creating a contact via an API call, hs_created_by_user_id is set to null.   It would be nice if the API was able to use the provided OAuth token to figure out which HubSpot user was creating the contact, and then using that info to set hs_created_by_user_id appropriately. ...read more

I've seen this idea in other threads but didn't find a dedicated topic/post...   We would LOVE to see a version control capability added to knowledge base articles. This would add TREMENDOUS value to organizations that need want to leverage a knowledgebase but are regulated in some way and HAVE to demonstrate control. Without versionining on the KB itself—they ultimately avoid the functionality altogether and go through tedious/other systems to keep track of versions.   Simple enumeration of article versions would be more than sufficient (but plenty of doc control teams would get overly pedantic over this)..  Published versions: v1.0, v2.0, v3.0, v4.0, etc. Iterative/draft version v1.1, v1.2, v2.1, etc. A simple/optional "approval by specific users/roles" would also be incredibly helpful. Just one approval for publishing articles by category. (Essentially just track that someone put their eyes on it beyond "Hit Save/Publish".   I've read elsewhere about HubSpotters asking for improvements like Undo/Redo functionality (just like on website pages). I'm working on an event with paid registration, and I need a way within HS to accept more than one registration per order. I have included the quantity option (great!), but I also need to collect individual registration contact info.   Example: Buyer is registering for multiple people and each person needs to receive their own confirmation and event details and we need a list of all registrants. (These are small-scale workshops, so I don't need tickets.)   I have used Eventbrite and Shopify in the past to manage event registrations, but was so hopeful with the HS payment feature that I could manage it ALL in HS. For now I'll have to use another product. But this addition to the purchase/payment feature would meet our needs and greatly simplify the event management process!   Thanks! ...read more

It would be great if TalentLMS and HubSpot would integrate without having to use a third party.    We are currently using TalentLMS for online training of our customers and partners. The integration with HubSpot would help us:   keep our database up-to-date send reminder / invitation / feedback emails to complete the course via HubSpot track the training and course completion in HubSpot send reminders to contact owners for any trigger events add users via HubSpot to new courses / branches / groups save the course certificates automatically in HubSpot Files extend course deadlines via HubSpot use workflows with Trello event triggers Currently there is an awful lot of manual work for us to make sure e.g. that we keep track of who gets added to the courses, who completed the courses, who needs an extension of their course deadlines, adding their certifications to the right contacts on HubSpot, and sending emails manually to make sure they're sent from their contact owners.   Thank you😊   ...read more

I have a range of calendars I created in Google that all work within my primary calendar account. I created these for personal, volunteering, etc., so they could be color coded in my main calendar view for quick reference. Unfortunately, these secondary calendars are not being pulled in when I set up calendar integration with HubSpot Sales Meetings. Hi 👋 I have a suggestion for task creation. Whe creating tasks in a bulk or through an automation the process in fairly easy. However, when creating single tasks, it happens to be a very manual process. As it is very common that tasks are allways the same type. Would it be possible to create kind of a task "type" task "template" or task "category" within Hubspot so with only one click we could assign a task with the details we want in it.  Thanks!  ...read more
