I'm part of a Sales team that would like to strat tracking deals in our pipeline that do not have an active task. This is important to us to ensure every rep is properly following up with prospects. Currently there is not an easy way to see this. So i wanted to create a report that showed all deals that do not have a task to be completed at a future date. I could use task is unknown, but this would show deals where no task has ever been created. It would be nice to have a filter on Deals to show that no next steps are being taken and there is not an expected date of communication by the rep. We use custom project numbering for all Deals when they become projects (meaning we have a signed quote and are moving forward with the project). The project numbers become a part of the Deal Title and the Ticket Title (where our engineers manage their work). However, we need to also be able to use the project number with our invoices, but there is no way to use the current settings to create the correct invoice number from our standpoint. For instance, the project title "240101 Smith 123 Main St NY NY" is used in our cloud archives, our Deal Title and the Ticket Title (as well as any documentation that we generate for the project). We would like the invoice to also have the number 240101. If we have multiple invoices for the same project, then the numbers would be 240101-1, 240101-2. Multiple invoices are finalized at different times based on the completion of deliverables, so the current sequential numbering system doesn't work for us, as we can begin other projects before finalizing the next invoice for 240101 (using our example number). Being able to simply enter an invoice number at the time of finalizing an invoice would solve the problem for us. ...read more

I'm using Hubspot CRM for sales for my real estate business. One of the biggest challenges that I'm running into is with new imports. The leads in my import list do not have emails, which defaults the records from matching the records in HubSpot.    It would be great if the common denominator between records could be changed from emails to another property or properties such as address, city, state, zip/postal code. I think it would be an excellent feature especially for quotes where specific discount codes are attached to the contact or company card which will flow into the deal. When creating a deal depending on the poduct/service being sold/provided you would select the correct code and the discount would automatically apply to the line items.    I have noticed that this feature currently doesnt exisit but I would think that there would be multiple businesses that currently use this model depending on what they are selling they could have different discounts that would apply for different services or products depending on the client.  ...read more

Create a top tier permission higher than super admin. Other apps have an "Owner" or "CEO" level that has full access whereas super admins are restricted from making business-related changes like upgrading the account, deleting the account, backing up the entire data file, etc. Not only would this mitigate the risk of having 3rd party contractors work in a company's instance of HubSpot, but it would/should allow companies to edit the super admin permission set. For example, to give an email marketer permission for enough things I have to make them a super admin. And to give a specialist for automation/workflow for objects I also have to make them an admin. There is an urgent need to create custom properties on account users/"Hubspot Users". An example of the need for this are user attributes required to connect user records in Hubspot to other systems, like HR platforms. Most systems use employee ID values as the globally unique identifier for a user/employee rather than the email because the email can change when there is a name change for the user. Now that system users can be assigned to CRM objects in a custom property field, there is a lot more flexibility to use Hubspot Users which is great, but need to be able to consistently identify these users. ...read more

Create an option to compare if two dates are the same across objects. For example:   Company First Contact Create Date = 1/1/2023 Contact Create Date = 1/1/2023    I can then use a workflow to set a custom property value that will help me identify who the first contact was for a company.  This helps with attribution and customer journey reports and makes sense overall for other use cases that need to be compare dates across objects. ...read more

We had a legacy Shopify integration in place (the native connector) which synced the following objects: Contacts Deals Products We wanted to expand that to include company data as we saw that the sync field mapping had expanded to include the Company object. However, in updating the connector, it broke the connection to the Deal object and shifted the data to Orders instead. The Orders object which has replaced Deals within the data sync mapping is an invisible and uneditable object within our client's portal. We had to roll back to the older version which then cuts out companies.  Please could HubSpot consider brining back the Deal object in the sync mapping so that clients on the legacy version are able to update theirs to benefit from the new Company sync functionality. ...read more
