Currently, @mentions in internal comments do not trigger push notifications in Google Chat. I received a response from HubSpot support stating that internal comment notifications are not fully supported for Google Chat at this time. Please consider investigating a product update to enhance notification coverage for internal comments, specifically when commenting in the conversation inbox. We’ve found the “Shared Team” and “Shared User” properties to be a great solution for granting visibility to contacts that may be owned by one location team but interact with marketing forms or express interest in another location. However, there isn’t currently an intuitive way for partitioned teams to request access to these contacts.   Feature Request:   We’d love to see a feature where partitioned teams can request “Shared Team” or “Shared User” access on contacts that already exist in the HubSpot database. Ideally, this could work by: 1.Triggering a Request – When a contact submits a form indicating interest in a different location, that location’s team can request shared access within HubSpot. 2. Automated Workflows for Approval – Admins could approve requests manually or set up a workflow that automatically grants “Shared Team” access based on form submissions or other engagement triggers. 3. Enhanced Contact Sharing Controls – Allowing admins to configure settings that grant visibility based on specific engagement types (e.g., form submissions, event registrations, etc.).   Why This Matters: • It ensures accurate and relevant outreach while maintaining data security and team partitioning. • Helps franchise/multi-location businesses collaborate more effectively when contacts interact with multiple locations. • Reduces manual intervention from super admins who currently need to manually adjust ownership settings.   Has anyone else encountered this challenge? Hello, Hubspot!    It would be great to have an integration in place to answer online reviews about our businesses within the Helpdesk feature, including Google reviews, Facebook reviews, TripAdvisor, Yelp, etc.   The dream would be that each review we get on Google, for example, a Hubspot ticket is created in the Helpdesk. The agent can reply just like an email or form submission, and then the reply is posted to Google as if we were replying from Google directly.    Is this possible with the way Hubspot is now or is this something that can be considered in the near future?  ...read more

We switched from ZenDesk to HubSpot for our ticketing and we are missing ZenDesk's Email API (https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408839419034-Using-the-Mail-API-to-update-ticket-properties-from-your-inbox).   Basically, the ZenDesk Email API allowed us to include a few commands at the beginning of an outgoing email (ie. an email from us to a customer) that would specify a few of the ticket parameters.   For example, there doesn't seem to be any way to send an email to a customer using an external email client (eg. Gmail) and automatically create a HubSpot ticket associated with that customer.  I have tried CCing and BCCing one of my HubSpot Inbox Channel Forwarding Addresses but the tickets that are generated are associated with the FROM email address (ie. our email address) which is very annoying and time-consuming to constantly manually switch to our customer's email address. ...read more

I love the new forms editor, but using it means abandoning our old forms and the history we have with them. To see the performance of our main contact form, for example, I have to track 3 different versions that were used over time, and now a 4th as I move to the forms editor. I have to update all dashboards, reports, and workflows. It would be nice to have the option to migrate forms to maintain continuity of reporting.  ...read more

One of my clients is running into an association issue that can’t be solved by workflow / custom code   When a deal is won, we automatically create an onboarding ticket that is supposed to copy the association of the deal with the ticket   ex: deal associated with 3 contacts and 1 company -> Onboarding ticket is associated with these same 3 contacts and 1 company   Unfortunately, what HubSpot does is that it overrides the associations rules we set by workflow, and automatically associates the onboarding ticket to all the companies that are associated with the contacts (not only the one in the deal).   In the association history, we can see that the action is made by HubSpot API.    For now, users have to manually remove the associations with unwanted companies in the onboarding ticket, which is prone to many errors.   A quick development of an answer to this issue will be highly appreciated ...read more
