The once-a-month marketing contact status update is very frustrating. Why should HubSpot hold one ransom to what was decided about who should or should not be a marketing contact two weeks ago/three days ago... Business is volatile, things change daily, not monthly - yet HubSpot forces the once a month update. -Marketing status changes should be immediate and visible as they are done. Secondly, moving into a higher tier for marketing contacts is often a result of the above, due to filter upon filter that needs to be used properly to ensure one stays within the contact tier budgeted for. Plus, Hubspot holds one to the higher tier until contract is renewed - that is not fair on your clients. - When a tier changes upward, billing should not be forced for that tier until renewal of contract - if there is no other way for your admin to change this, at least give client options. One month, two months, or not at all before just implementing auto tier billing.
