A bunch of our contacts got overwritten when an email to sign up for a webinar was forwarded to colleagues. HubSpot passes the cookie from the OG recipient to the person the email is forwarded to, so that when they click a link in the email and submit a form, the submission is recognized as the OG contact if "Always create contact for new email address" is disabled, and overwrites their email. That's too bad, because ideally we could leave this setting disabled to match contacts who give us their work email and personal email. To split contacts in two today, you have to delete the secondary email and manually create a new contact, copying/pasting the other form values. Instead, you should be able to hover over the form submission event in the Contact timeline and click a button to "Create new contact from form submission." This would prompt a pop-up with all of the form fields pre-filled to create the new contact record.
