Great minds think alike

At the moment there doesn't seem to be a way to set whether a property is read only via API call. That is, I'd like to be able to create properties that are "Everyone can view" rather than "Everyone can view and edit". In fact, it doesn't seem like it's possible to find out the property access info for existing properties either. If I fetch a read-only property and a read-write property, there's no difference in the returned JSON to indicate which one is editable. There's a modificationMetadata field which looks promising: "modificationMetadata": { "archivable": true, "readOnlyDefinition": false, "readOnlyValue": false } ...however, readOnlyValue and readOnlyDefinition always seem to be false, even for read-only properties, so presumably they have some other (undocumented) meaning. Hello,   We use tickets to interact with our customers (we prefer this over the inbox view). I came across this a bunch of times, where colleagues would tell me they don't see the attachment that the customer said they attached. When I look into it I see that they have to expand the email and go all the way to the bottom of the email thread to find the attachment. I think it would be beneficial if attachments appear at the top of these conversations so we don't have to look for them like this.   Conversations can be very long sometimes, and when there are multiple attachments associated with one ticket and the file names are similar (which happens a lot) it's almost impossible to find the correct attachment on the right sidebar. ...read more

This is different from integrating the store to hubspot. We have an app on Shopify and would like to use hubspot to automate the notification emails when merchants download the app. Also this way we can track the analytics on open, engaged, etc. Currently there's no way to do that other than special integration which I don't know how to do and can be very expensive. It would be great to be able to hide dropdown selections while editing the contact profile like you can in forms, so that I can choose to only show my team what I'd like them to see on that particular week. Right now, I'm having to create a form where it's purpose is for team members to update contact information with only the selections that are relevent that week. We keep having unknown qualified/unqualified leads (aka real people, not spam) fill out the demo forms on our website. Often, they submit the form with the website URL field filled in as "website" or "n/a" instead of a domain name, which 1) fails to create an associated company for them, and 2) makes it harder for our sales team to research them ahead of a call. I think it would be great if there could be a notes section for these types of pages. This way if another person is editing the page, they can see any previous notes. Also, it would be cool if there could be a note or comment everytime someone publishes or updates a page. ...read more
