Hi, Hubspot has the feature of creating "Deals". My company wants to exploit this feature better but is currently facing a big issue with "Importing Deals". Our company gets a lot of projects on a daily basis and we maintain the records via excel sheets. Each day new records are created and occasionally, old records are updated (for example: The revenue earned out of a deal might change, depending on the status of the deal). We'd like to import the same excel sheet everyday to create newdeals and update existing deals. But here is a problem: If we import a sheet and import it again the next day with a few changes, the second import will create new deals instead of updating the existing deals because Hubspot de-duplicates existing deals on the basis of the Deal ID. Each import assigns new Deal IDs to every entry regardless of other information in each entry. Now, our company assigns a Project ID (PID) to each project. Once assigned, the PID will not change for a project. SO THE SOLUTION I PROPOSE is that Hubspot should allow the user to set the property for the de-duplication process. That way, for my company's case, we can select the PID as the criteria for de-duplication and allows us to simply update entries to the same excel sheet and import it whenever required. THE SOLUTION AS ON DATE is cumbersome and has potential for errors. We would have to first import a sheet, then export the same sheet once Hubspot has created a Deal ID for each entry. Hence forth, each time changes need to be made, we will have to first export the excel sheet from Hubspot which contains the Deal ID and then make changes. Submitting on behalf of Mike Rizzo:   "I don't want to have my form submissions email alerts include data from previous form submissions.   Each and every form needs to only alert us of the items that were filled in.   This is an essential component to ticket management and the functionality needs to exist.   If someone comes to my site and submits a form a second time (or more times) and decided NOT to fill in an "optional field", then I don't want to see an email alert with details from prior submissions.   It's like getting a demo request once and someone puts info into a "more details field" and then someone comes back 9 months later and fills out that form again but decided not to put in details on "more details". When I go to Marketing > Emails and it displays all the emails my company has created, I would like to be able to filter or at least sory by the user who created (or last updated) the email. I want to be able to exclusively see my own team's emails. ...read more

Hi Community,   This idea is to create a YES/NO property which determines whether an open deal has an open task assigned to it.   It would allow the Sales team to better track their Deals.   The purpose is to ensure open deals are being followed up and don't get lost.   Ideally it would force all deals to have an open task until closed. ...read more

Would love for deal based workflows to include internal SMS sent to deal owner or HubSpot user dynamically. There is currently only a coice to send internal SMS to a specific user or phone number. When our sales agents are assigned leads, it would be nice to send out an SMS alert in addition to email to the HubSpot user/deal owner specified in the Deal record automatically. ...read more

A really helpful tool would be competitor analysis.    Currently, it seems LinkedIn is the only native platform to offer some sort of competitor analysis. It would be really great to have a function that allows you to track selected competitors across all connected platforms. ...read more

It would be useful to be able to manage the way ticket are named. Especially when the tickets are automatically created with Conversations.   For instance, an user could set the Ticket name to be : Email subject + Contact Name and Company.   As the number of tickets increases, this will help to prioritize and manage them. ...read more

Once you sell an item to a customer, you should be able to add that product to a registered products section along with a serial number so the sales team know which company has which products before they contact that customer.   This would also help massively with MA and sending rules. ...read more
