At present it does not seem possible to control what information a user can access in the activity feed. Within the plethora of customisable options it seems this is one of the more obvious as some of the other access limitations you may place on a users permissions could be essentially side stepped by information served up in the activity feed. You need to give admins and their business more control over this not just at a user level. Given that a user can tune in and tune out "relevant" activity why can the business not itself define what is relevant activity for its users. This should be relatively simple to deliver with a lot of value for businesses with complex product, division, team and department structures.

Hi Hubspot, Please let us create Invoices based on Quotes Payment Plans! We love the native Quoting Feature. It saves us hours of time, looks good, and helps my sales team be more focused on selling. We are looking to have the same on the invoicing side once the Quotes are signed. Due to our high Invoices, we always offer 50/50 split payments to help the cash flow of our clients. We always specify that in the payment plan, but Hubspot does not allow us to convert Quotes with Split payments to Invoices. This effectively prohibits us from using the Invoice Feature, as we either have to find a workaround (which is not an Option with Accounting) OR only offer 100% Payments, which also isn't an option. Thank you in advance. I'm sure this is something that's on a list, and I'd love to see it sooner rather than later! What do you guys think?

Before the latest update, HubSpot users could contact support and view their support inbox through the purple help button presented at the bottom right of their portal. Now, in order to contact support and view our support inbox, we must go through the question mark symbol in the top right of the toolbar. Unfortunately, through this method, we must interact with the support bot before being able to access the support team or the support inbox. This update is not intuitive or user-friendly.

Hiya! 😊 I've been manually calculating drop-off rates for an audit I'm doing on different forms in HubSpot. How awesome would it be to have HubSpot automatically calculate this? Or even better, have the specific field where the user stopped completing a form! For now, here's my calculation for drop-offs%: Interactions-Submissions= Drop offs. Drop offs/Interactionsx100 = Percentage of drop-offs Example: Out of the 1,693 interactions we have 721 successful submissions which indicates the drop-off rate is x%. 1693-721= 972 972/1693= 0,575 0,575x100= 57% Out of the 1,693 interactions we have 721 successful submissions which indicates the drop-off rate is 57%. Thank you!

When creating a payment link, there is the ability to add custom dates for the subscription start date. However, there is not the ability to populate the subscription start date with the contents of a hubspot contacts date field. We process applicants in advance of their contractual start date, sometimes a year in advance, and we do not start their subscription until they start their contract - Its a different day for everyone, so we need the ability to start a subscription on a date that is known in a field in the associated contact. They would be applying through a membership page in Hubspot CMS, so there wouldnt be a problem in them clicking a payment link and hubspot pulling through this field, as they are logged in and we know who it is.

With the freshly released new feature of the Lead Object which I know is still in Beta, it would be great if we could add/edit properties similar to the other objects like contacts, companies, deals, etc. For example, I need to create a Lead source property so the sales reps can choose from our own lead sources rather than the default HubSpot ones.

Hi there, I believe it would be beneficial to designate a specific page or section exclusively for Academy updates. This could include news about newly added content, the release of new certificate courses, and announcements about certificate retirements. Similar to the product updates accessible under the account dropdown menu. This helps the HubSpot trainer in maintaining current training information and communicating with users to encourage participation in new content training and certificate reacquisition.

Problem: If you want to archive a property in Hubspot, a property has to be "used in" 0. This means that a property cannot be used in a view, reports, workflows, calculated properties, etc. Today, a super admin has to delete all views or ask the user who created the view to remove the property as a column from a view. Solution - If a property is no longer needed, allow a super admin to remove a property from all views. Going through up to 100 views and manually removing a property is not feasible. Manually deleting up to 100 views is also not ideal as quite often the views are still needed.

I'd like to propose some enhancements to the Slack notifications feature within HubSpot workflows to make them more versatile and user-friendly. Currently, when setting up Slack notifications in workflows, there are a few limitations that I believe could be improved upon: Inability to Reorder Properties: It would be beneficial to have the ability to reorder the properties that should be attached to Slack notifications. Currently I have to delete all properties when I would like to add one on the first position, and re-add the other properties afterwards, which is quite time consuming and laborious, especially if you have a lot of properties to include in the Slack notification. Lack of Text Styling Options: Currently, the Slack notifications sent from HubSpot workflows do not support text styling options such as bold, colors, font sizes, and other visual adjustments. Adding these styling options would enable users to highlight important information and improve the overall readability and aesthetics of the notifications. By addressing these limitations, users would have greater flexibility and control over the Slack notifications generated by HubSpot workflows, ultimately enhancing their effectiveness in communicating important updates and actions to team members. I believe implementing these enhancements would significantly improve the user experience and make the Slack notifications feature in HubSpot workflows even more valuable for teams.
