When contacts import via the email add in tool - their first name and surname are not populated - consequently this is a large housekeeping exercise if you gain a lot of contacts this way as the only way to update the individuals first name and surname is in their individual contact page ( very click heavy ) Could you develop something whereby it autopopulated first name and surname - assuming many business use a firstname.surname email naming convention then set an alert for a human to check it - this would then mean it got reviewed by exception and forced the users to ensure above fields populated correctly

When I'm submitting a new idea, how can I 'Select Idea Category' field when I don't know the Idea Categories? Feels like you could offer a drop down in the field below. Now...off to go manually figure out what idea category this should be. It auto populates if I know what to type first. But I didn't know what to type and had to manually look it up.

I was cc'd on an email from a colleague (never-log domain) to a client (always-log domain). My colleague doesn't have the Hubspot extension on her gmail so I forwarded the email using my Hubspot forwarding address. I was hoping the software would recognize the client's email in the 'To:' field and attach to the client's profile but I've been told by support that since the email was from a never-log domain it won't log to the client. I wish I could link emails like this to a client's profile from within the Hubspot Gmail Extension or that the Forwarding feature would be able to recognize the originally intended target.

if you create a unique CTA to link to a meeting link, you will be able to see the number of clicks, but not the number of submissions. If the CTA takes people to book a meeting, it's vital to know how many were booked from that specific CTA.

It would be nice if we could see on an individual contact basis, how long each contact viewed content in a particular website page. Right now I believe you guys provide just whether the contact has viewed a website page or not.

When new contacts are created so many of them are not linked back to the related company as it doesnt have the option on the side pop-out when creating a new contact. I think this would be a great feature as it will ensure all data is linked.

Customize branding emails and pages for each stage in sales cycles. Should be automated and predefined. Gives a sense of our company while leveraging the automation in this tool.

I use Gmail and have the extension for HubSpot installed in Chrome. I have set it up so I have to check the Log and Track boxes for these functions. I just learned that HubSpot logs emails from the original point that it is logged. If someone replies to, or forwards, the originally logged email to a different group of people HubSpot will not correctly associate the email with the new recipients but rather the original set from the initial point of logging. HubSpot will also continue to log the thread even if I do not choose to from the reply / forwardl. If you want to have emails logged correctly in these cases you will have to modify the logging from within HubSpot by changing the associations in the email. I think it's a good idea to fix this.
