In order to forecast revenue, I would like to see line item related income on a timeline.   It's weird that you can select one-time / monthly / annual line item but you can't really see that from a revenue perspective. Example : I have this deal with 2 line items, first one is one-shot, second one is recurring. I would expect to be able to draw a report with revenue as the Y axis, and the payment date (day/month/quarter/year... whatever) on the X axis. It would be useful if the unformated number type could allow symbols. 12345-67 for instance. The benefit of this not being stored as text being that workflows can treat it like a number still with regard to function.   Appreciate that a workaround for this above example would be two number fields that I could manually put together.   If not allowing the unformatted number type to have symbols, perhaps creating a new number type alongside, formatted, unformatted and currency, 'Unformatted with symbols'. ...read more
