I would like to share an idea for a feature improvement in the tagging of survey responses that would be very helpful in filtering responses for our team. Our use case is that we would like to be able to filter responses based on certain contact properties that would be copied as tags.   Currently, in HubSpot, there is a beta feature that allows you to add tags to survey responses and then filter off those tags.  However, what is currently lacking is the ability to automate this tagging via a workflow. This would significantly facilitate the reporting and filtering of responses.    I believe implementing this improvement would significantly upgrade the user experience. Currently all users with even the lowest level permission can access all the connected apps under integration. This is very bad since some connected apps carry many leads that are not supposed to be available to users. (Such as Mailchimp app) If we can add a permission settings for users to not have viewing permission to connected apps that would be awesome. ...read more

My company hosts events, and we would like to log this activity similarly to how we log emails, calls or meetings, but especially en mass for large numbers of contacts. I was looking at workflows to see if I could use a list as a trigger event to get this event attendance/activity logged. I was hoping to find a way to use a workflow, and membership to an uploaded attendance list as the trigger to log this event attendance activity, so each event would mark a different corresponding name to match the event.     ...read more

Hello,   Could a dark mode (night mode) be added as a preference or viewing option for the Hubspot web portal (UI)? Hello,   It would be useful if HubSpot could be able to analyze the source of a property value.   For instance we would like for HubSpot to recognize when a lifecycle stage of a contact was set by source X (such as integration or CRM), have the property value Y.   This would allow us to say: "If the contact has a lifecycle stage set to Lead by the integration, then change the lifecycle to xxxx".   I guess this could be useful in many other ways to define workflows.   Have a good day,   Pierre ...read more

This feels like a bug rather than an Idea. If you have GDPR settings turned on, whenever you create a new form it will automatically reactivate the default "Marketing Information" subscription type even if you've deactivated it and created new subscription types. The issue is that if we don't catch it, suddenly subscribers will see a new subscription type option that isn't part of any content workstream.     This was the response from support below. Please resolve this behavior!    Currently the reason why it keeps reactivating it's when a new form it's created, by default if you have the GDPR settings on, the internal forms service uses the default Marketing Information Subscription as the subscription type when creating forms therefor unarchiving this subscription type.   This situation may happen every time a form it's created, and internally it seems that our forms team may be considering the change of how that works in the future, but at the moment there is no workaround for this. ...read more

It would be even more AMAZING if we could have access to a measure of associated records in single object reports. that way we could drill into the number of contacts, deals, and tickets associated with our custom objects.    And then our leadership could see which specific deals/records are accounting for the totals.    thanks! ...read more

The whole goal of this addition to the Hub Spot platform is to help our salespeople create a process within "Create Deal" on the Sales platform. Ideally we should be able to enter all the information in for creating a deal then when we get to the bottom we need to "Associate deal with". At this current moment you cannot add a new contact or add a new company while in the deal creator. There should be a button to add a new contact or add a new company if desired. Most of the time in sales we are getting these deals from new prospectable clients that we do not have in our systems. Adding a button to add new company and contacts would make the "create deal" portion of sales a one stop shop to pull all customer information in.  ...read more

I was just showing off the new AI assistant features - and it is well received by all. The very first question I received from our users was "Will this AI assistant work in all our different languages?". Upon checking with both knowledgebase and HubSpot support, unfortunately the AI assistant is currently only available to be set as one language across the different functions - i.e set as English for all web pages.  I would like to propose that for large multi-national organisations this should be more granular and allow for multi-lingual teams like ours which have pages, forms, pop-ups, social accounts and emails in more than 20 languages.  The ideal is that either the AI assistant is set at user level, or, the AI assistant should automatically change to the setting for that function. I.e if the landing page is in French, the AI assistant switches to French. If the email is in Spanish - AI will be in Spanish etc. For now, the workaround I have offered is that we can set up a sandbox for each language and add the team so they can make use of the creation features - but of course this is not ideal to have to copy and paste.... ...read more
