Salesforce has a tool called Engagement Studio which includes a rather neat, highly visual testing feature. This post is for the HubSpot developers.   First, it's great having integration between these two platforms, it's allowed us to discontinue our salesforce subscription to standardize on HubSpot Sales Professional.    However, the downside is we've lost some major functionality that I'm hoping will be addressed soon.  Important note: while we had SFDC and HubSpot all data was synchronizing between the two platforms without requiring Operations Hub.    Here's my assessment and where there are opportunities to create a tighter integration.   prospects / contacts - sync (partial check) above default, HubSpot wants you to purchase Operations Hub, however, when using SFDC, integration did not require any additional plans to sync. accounts - sync (partial check) the same thing, Hubspot requires Operations Hub to sync above standard (very basic) fields.  Since we have Sales Professional, this should be included. deals/opportunities - (missing) this is a major issue for us, we update our deals within Outreach. sequence data - (missing) having two-way sync will help ensure data accuracy.  If HubSpot wants to be the database of record and allow users to keep marketing, sales, etc in one place, tighter integration here is essential. complete integration - (missing) tasks, meetings, calls, etc.  100% Outreach synchronize with HubSpot, whether it's inbound, or outbound I want the records to reflect all of the interactions we have. ...read more

We run many different HubSpot portals for customers and have run into this issue multiple times: There is a major issue with a form and it is unclear who created or changed the form.   Like many features of HubSpot it would be great if forms showed who created the initial form and showed version history with editor information.  It's a lot easier to hold people accountable if you can see who made or edited a form. ...read more

Hi   I have a Linkedin company profile page that has a form fill that Linkedin has inbuilt into the profile page and I would love the form fill that is powered by LinkedIn API I have been told to feed into HubSpot as a lead. Because my accounts are connected and Hubspot is able to track my analytics, I would like a tool that suggests a time to post based off the platform and day of week. Schedulers like HeyOrca, Sprinklr, Hootsuite and more suggest a time based off your platform's peak engagement time. I would rather post at 1:22 on a Tuesday on Instagram because that is what's best based off my analytics than post every day at 11:00am.  ...read more

At the moment lists in a folder are sorted by ' last updated' and I would like to sort it by name instead. I've numbered my lists and want them to follow up. There is an option to do that now (sort by name), but once you update a list it automatically start to sort by ' last updated' again. For designing workflows It would be useful to have the possibility to add dummy (non-executable) steps with display text field only. In many cases, especially if designing rather complex worklfows it is a blocker if I don't have all the necessary emails, CTAs, forms etc. ready and eg. I realize that I'd need an email iteration for another if/then branch on the fly. If in such case I don't add a real, executable step I can't continue building my workflow, while if I add something to fill in the gap and leave it in by mistake, then there is a risk that eg. a wrong email will be sent or something unwanted happens. Dummy steps could help me oversee what building bricks I still need to prepare, without interrupting me in worklflow design work, or contaimining my workflow with redundant content pieces. Currently one can set a 'Welcome page' by domain – but it is limited to only one default 'Welcome page' per domain. We would like to have different Welcome pages for different areas, for example connected to a List membership.    The background of this is that we have created a "Customer portal" with various documentation for prospects and newly registered customers. They each get added to a list and get access to X content via login. Now, we'd want to expand to also other types of "self-service" portals, eg. restricted access areas for other types of content, with completely other membership lists – and want to have the possibility to set different Welcome pages depending on the need/case.  The workaround today, is to have multiple domains and use them for the various welcome pages/memberships – which does not work for us. ...read more
