HubSpot should return CAA records for domains so that SSL certificates can be issued without the customer needing to alter root CAA records.   More info:   We added domains for landing pages and emails, and after adding the required CNAME and completing verification, got an error saying that an SSL certificate couldn't be generated as HubSpot's certificate provider, Digicert (the CA) didn't have permission.   The instructions say to add Digicert to our root domain's CAA record, but this is bad advice as we have specifically set our CAA records to our own CA, and adding HubSpot's CA would allow that to be used for any sub-domains that we have anywhere else.   As HubSpot have provided a CNAME record, they can control the CAA record in the same way as the A record that's already provided. CAA records are hierarchical for exactly this reason. This would mean that their chosen CA would always be accepted, and no customer would need to alter any CAA records.   Our interim fix is to create domains in Hubspot which use a second sub-domain level, e.g. email.hub.example.com, so that we can add CAA records on hub.example.com rather than alter our root CAA. Then if/when HubSpot start providing the CAA record for the CNAME, the higher level will not be needed, but there is no break or impact. ...read more

I'm trying to create a list of active, engaged contacts on a rolling basis, using the "Recent sales email replied date" as a means of filtering.   Unfortunately, individuals with automated responses such as "Out of Offices" are being counted.    It would be useful if there was a way to exclude these individuals from these lists.   As a quick and dirty solution, I've tried adding additional qualification using the HubSpot Score property, but no joy. Email Response for Spam email still counts towards HubSpot Score seemingly.      ...read more

Hi,   As a agency employee I wanted to set up a deal based workflow for one of our customers. Unfortunally I need to occupy a Sales Professional seat to be able to do that.   I would like to be able to set up these kind of tasks/features as an agency without the need for the appropriate license. Otherwise it's hard to deliver our services and it feels rather odd to demand a Sales Starter or Pro seat of our customers just to be able to do this...   This goes for any feature that is available in the clients portal for Sales and Service Hub: Deal based workflows Quote based workflows Ticket based workflows Snippets Sequences Etceterac   Anything should be managable for agency employees so they can provide their services in HubSpot. ...read more

Für mich ein echtes must have,  "Tags" mit welchen ich Kontakte, Leads, Anrufe, Deals, .... jede Funktion, Kategorisieren/Taggen kann.    Bei ZOHO gibt es hier eine wirklich klasse Möglichkeit. Für das Anlegen ist die reine Eingabe erfoderlich und der Tag ist dann direkt im Kopf ersichtlich.    Bei Hubspot, muss man: - aufwenig ein eigenes Feld anlegen - es ist nicht im Kopf des Kontaktes - beim hinzufügen eines Tags muss man aufwendig in die einstellungen abtauchen und dieses extra anlegen    Ich habe noch bis zum 12.06. The Hubspot Insight "Revenue" should provide the revenue of ALL the companies, not just the companies with revenue under $1B.  It is misleading when you view this Hubspot Insight, as it is providing incorrect information for companies who have revenue over $1B.   All Hubspot users will find this information helpful.  I would strongly recommend that all company revenue, provided by Hubspot Insights, be updated correctly, regardless of the revenue amount. ...read more

In the design manager, Global groups can be used in pages, and blog templates but they cannot be used in drag n drop email templates. I have to update 8 email templates to make their footers all look a certain way. Unfortunately there's no way to create global groups. Therefore instead of spending just 2 minutes adding the global module to each of the emails I have to manually recreate it in all 8 templates and it will take me over an hour to do so.   You cannot create global groups in email templates - therefore you can't create email global groups, making it useless. Hi this was reference previosuly here.   I send a user a log in sequence from HubSpot with 3 emails each with a link to set up their account. What I would like is instead of manually checking to see if they have logged in and checking the task as complete/incomplete (to send the next email prompt). It would be great if HubSpot can recognise they have clicked the link in the email and this automatically unenrols them from the email sequence    Because our platform is not linked to HubSpot it cannot track the landing page they land on from my email as a page view it only registers the activity as clicking the link.    I work in customer success, my goal with this is to have better automation and reduce time for me to manually check user log in. This could add value as the sequence could be new terms and conditions, new feature etc that may not neccessarily need to go into a marketing email and could be for select clients  ...read more

Hi all,    Idea: the HS chrome extension could reflect any custom contact record left sidebar section created in the platform.   Unfortunately,  the sections in the chrome sidebar are static and cannot be changed. However, it would be great if we could customize them based on custom sections previously created in the CRM.   Thank you.     ...read more
