I would love to see Automated SMS attributed to goals inside of workflows. We have an SMS only workflow and the only way to track goals from it is UTMs inside of another tool.   Talking with Hubspot support, only automated emails get goal attribution. I know SMS is working to meet the goal because of my other triggers outside of Hubspot, but having the data populate inside hubspot is necessary so that I don't have to do a workaround to take leads out of a workflow. ...read more

Code Action outputs seem to be configured with slight delay, and will not always be properly defined before the next action is run in a workflow.   If you output values with code and the next action copies that value to a property, it will likely fail since the output value isn't properly defined.   To mitigate this, you have to introduce a short delay after the code action. This should not be necessary, and these values should be set and available to the rest of the workflow before continuing. ...read more

Since like objects can now be associated to each other, we have found a usage for this feature in Tickets. We need to be able to use the object creation option in Workflows to also automatically associate the Ticket that triggered the Workflow to the new Ticket being created BY the Workflow. For instance, our Support Team makes a ticket for an RMA of a customer's device for repair. This customer needs a loaner device to use while the RMA process is carried out. We have a Workflow to automatically create a new ticket to manage the Loaner request. We want these 2 tickets to be associated to each other in order to make a paper trail from the RMA to the Loaner ticket and vice-versa. ...read more

Currently leads get assigned to the owner of the contact/company by default. In some cases, a lead may need to go to someone other than the owner. For example, the lead's owner doesn't have the capacity to take on another lead or the lead's owner is actually a service user, not a salesperson.   Having the ability to change lead owners via the lead record or via workflows would be extremely beneficial.    Use case for workflows - lead gen forms. We do volume in transactional sales. It would be beneficial if we were able to apply an association label (Deal -> Company) through a workflow, vs. manually.  This will allow more automation improvement we wish to implement, such as automatically enrolling the company into a workflow, then if needing to make edits to a specific deal record with an association label, there will not be any delays or limitations from a manual effort.  Alternative to this is having more if/then functionality for associated object fields.  ...read more

Hi there, For our call-back & question forms; we created a workflow with the event occurrence delay. (see screenshot below) So the workflow is built like this:  If a contact that already has a contact owner, then it goes down to the correct communication channels & adds a task for the owner for example If a contact doesn't have an owner just yet, we first enroll them in another workflow (to assign the lead) & + add event occurrence delay & then continue on another if then branch. HOWEVER, sometimes, a lead is already picked up by sales via the Inbox, that the lead is in the workflow, went on the "no contact owner" branch but milliseconds later, they got an owner --> the current event occurrence delay "property value changed" is then never triggered (because it got updated milliseconds before the delay)   IF however, we would have a "Property value known" filter type; then our problem would be solved.   Now we reverted back to normal "x minutes" delay filters & if/then branches; but that means our lead-to-sales-time is a bit longer (due to implementing a 'safe' amount of delayed minutes).   Event occurrence - Property value KNOWN ...read more

I would like to Format the data of some properties (regardless of the object and type), by cutting any special characters or emojis.   Today, to achieve this, the special characters and/or emojis need to be inputed individually which is time consuming and not efficient.   Ideally, it would be nice to have a call or options for special characters and/or emojis that can be inputed directly, instead of doing them one by one.. ...read more

The Problem: We recently enabled OpsHub and have been building out different Custom Code integrations with different APIs. Each of these APIs we are working with have different rate limits that I'm unable to account for in my custom code. Ideally if I could control how many objects get passed through through a specific workflow action at a time per second, I could configure a custom throttle right on the workflow. This could also be a useful feature for email marketing and sequences as well.   The Solution: A new workflow action that allows you 2 inputs Choose how many objects should be moved per interval * Object Count ___ * Interval (Ideally seconds, minutes, hours)   For example If I have 500 contacts I am importing into the system that would automatically trigger this workflow, I could set the Throttle to * Contact Count 5 * Interval 1 second When 500 contacts hit the Throttle Action, 5 would get processed every 1 second (any additional that come in would get in the queue.  This would take approximately 100 seconds before the Throttle queue was empty (assuming no additional contacts were added to the workflow).   ...read more
