Hello, I've faced this issue recently and I want to leave it out here so either can help someone else or giving new feature update ideas to improve workflows settings.    Whenever a workflow has an specific date criteria set per email sent, if this action was delayed for one of the contacts enrolled in the workflow, once the workflow arrives to that delay date, that contact will receive all the emails he/she has been missing until the day that is at that time...     So let's say I want to send a sequence of 3 emails every Tuesday at 9:00 AM (3 weeks until my contacts complete the workflow). But one of my contacts had a problem with the setting and that problem it's solved by the date of the very last Tuesday. She/He will receive then all 3 emails all at once, which we can understand the problem of this!    That's why I don't understand what's the best way to proceed with this trigger. To me, there are either two possibilities:    1) That HubSpot allows in the setting of this trigger to set up timings in situations like this. For example, to have a delay of 2 days between emails.    2) Delete or Suggest users to prioritize on other triggers like "Set up a X number of days / hours / minutes delay"    I would love to know if other people have faced this issue before and how they have reacted to it, because knowledge is a never ending precious thing!    Hope I could have help with this 🙂  ...read more

Instead of making us create custom properties and various workflows to copy things like an associated company name to a ticket property just so that we can add the company name in an automated task, why not simply allow me to use the company token in the text of the task? ...read more

Who (what type of role or team) is the feature for? Operations, Sales   What is their goal? To automatically associate company contacts with the company's associated deals.   What value will this add? Reduces admin tasks for our sales team and reduces manual work when data is imported.   Screenshots, pictures, drawings, process diagrams, are helpful. We need the option to Build a Delay in Workflows that counts Business Days, not just Days.  You have the option in manual creation of tasks, why not automation?  This decreases the functionality of this Service a lot.  ...read more

Before the most recent update, the search box would save whatever search term you used. So if you were looking to complete certain tasks you could search for them via a key word in the task naming convention. If you clicked on a task and hit 'back' the list of tasks would still be filtered by the search criteria   The search box would also save common search terms, so you could quickly navigate the search bar without having to do much typing   Now, if you search for a term, the search box will not remember it in any way. If you pull up tasks with a certain search filter, click on a task, then click 'back', instead of taking you back to the filtered search, it takes you back to all your tasks with no search filter applied. You then need to reapply the filter again and try and find the page and task you were working on    The search box also no longer remembers common search terms, so they need to be typed in manually each time   The search box should continue to save input as it has in the past ...read more

We have several workflows that use if/then branch steps with many branches and/or complex logic for each branch. As part of the normal course of maintenance, I often have to edit existing workflow branch steps for a number of reasons:   To add a new branch To edit the criteria for an existing branch To add new criteria for an existing branch   Every single time I click "Update filter" after completing one of these actions, the following happens:   I am returned to the top of the "Edit action" tab for the branch step, even if the branch or criteria I was editing was much farther down The criteria for each branch is collapsed behind a "⌄ See more" link unless it has 2 or fewer lines -- even if I had previously expanded it or had been working on it   It's very frustrating to have to scroll + expand branch criteria to find my place again for every single edit. I would appreciate if the branch editor would remain in the same spot I was editing and/or the branch criteria would not collapse after being expande -- at least until I hit save on the entire step (not after each save of a step's criteria).     ...read more

Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more
