Back in 2016, HubSpot rolled out OOO detection for sequences: Introducing: Out of Office Reply Detection for Sequences This feature is fantastic because, as mentioned in the article, an OOO, vacation, automatic reply, etc. is not a sign of engagement and as such, the contact should not be unenrolled from the sequence. Unfortunately, this logic does not exist in Workflows, which makes it very difficult to completely automate sequences. Here's a use-case as an example: Say you have 3 or 4 sequences that you want to send to any particular contact in a row (must be done because HubSpot only allows for 5 automated emails per sequence). You might have a workflow setup like this: This ensures that contacts who have never bounced, unsubscribed, but most importantly, have never replied to an email get auto-enrolled into the next sequence. Currently, Workflow logic for 'recent sales email replied date' counts OOO replies and will unqualify any contact from being eligible for enrollment. The idea suggestion would be to implement the same logic/detection for OOO replies that already exist in Sequences into Workflows.
