While working on an integration between HubSpot and a third party I'm facing a serious limitation of the private app's webhook event subscription tool.   Issues No filter Can't be controlled which objects are watched the changes for. Example: I want only the Country = Germany contacts to be watched for changes.   No optional properties Can't be added optional properties of the object to the change event data. Example: I want to receive the Country property of the Contact object in the event data, to be able to filter the incoming data on the integration side.   Proposed solution No filter Extend the webhook subscription tool with a filter as we have it in the workflows or lists.   No optional properties Extend the webhook subscription tool to let the user select some properties of the object, that will be included within every change event. The data could look like this:   { eventId: 12345, subscriptionId: 376543, portalId: 3247823, appId: 8907485, occurredAt: 1612817930264, subscriptionType: 'contact.propertyChange', attemptNumber: 0, objectId: 67235764, propertyName: 'email', propertyValue: 'test@gmail.com', changeSource: 'CRM_UI', sourceId: 'userId:3546436', objectProperties: { country: 'Germany', some_custom_property: 2356747 } }     Disclaimer: - it is not a viable option to get the data using the API, because we should be able to handle millions of data changes daily. - using workflows to filter the objects and trigger a webhook containing just the right data is not an option either, because without an API call can't be verified what property/properties were changed. ...read more

Hi all, I ran into a problem while working on a workflow. I had set up a workflow with enrollment triggers, then added those criteria as reenrollment triggers, but after I removed the initial enrollment triggers, I was not able to access the reenrollment triggers which were still active.   That meant that even though contacts were now manually enrolled into my workflow (without any triggers), they would still re-enroll each time they met the hidden reenrollment triggers. The enrollment triggers are hidden because there are no triggers in the workflow - see image below.   The only way I can remove the hidden reenrollment triggers is to set up the same enrollment triggers again, then remove the reenrollment triggers from there, and remove the enrollment triggers. This seems to be not sustainable and user-friendly, so I'm wondering if there is a way to access / edit the re-enrollment triggers in a workflow, even when there are no enrollment triggers being set up? ...read more

It would be really useful if tasks could ber assigned via workflows to a job role rather than a specific user. When a user changes position or leaves the organisation we need to find all the workflows that task that user and change them over. This has been a huge job in the past. It makes much more sense to have workflows point to a specific role and then have that role point to a specific user.   The current work around for this is to assign them to a task queue, but there are issues with that around reporting and notifications that make it less viable. ...read more

Hello community,    A great point of improvement for hubspot would be to automate pipeline or custom feild assocaitions on notes and tasks depending on a certain deal stage.    For exmaple. I have pipeline A the main sales pipeline. Sometimes, deal get held up and are put in the stage "Held Up". It is here another team in pipeline B assists me to push the deal through.    Currently we need to manually associate all notes and tasks to both pipelines instead of it being an autmoatic settings we can leverage. Would save a lot of time for both pipelines and their teams if deals could auto associate notes and tasks at set stages in the pipeline A pipeline so everyone can be on the same page about a given deal. ...read more

This request refers to the double opt-in features in HubSpot: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/marketing-email/set-up-double-opt-in-for-emails#send-opt-in-email-to-individual-contact   When HubSpot users want to bulk confirm the email addresses, the only way is currently via bulk edit:   Once you have the double opt-in feature enabled, you can update the double opt-in status for your contacts in bulk from your contacts home.   This means that every time there are new contacts to confirm, a user has to manually select and update contacts.   Please create a workflow action to update the 'Marketing email confirmation status' to 'Customer marked confirmed'.   Reasons why this is needed Some contacts should be automatically marked confirmed. For example, in many SaaS companies, software customers are considered confirmed because they already signed up for the software. In other companies, customers are generally considered confirmed across the board and should not have to go through a double opt-in process again. While there are workflow workarounds, using additional custom properties, it should be possible to update the confirmation status directly. If it's possible to update contacts in bulk (see article linked above), Professional and Enterprise customers should not be forced to do this manually. I've set up a workflow that sends details about a ticket to a channel in Slack. There is automatically a button at the bottom of the channel message stating "View in HubSpot" with a link to the ticket. When clicking the link, it takes you to a ticket overview page on the contact. This isn't useful for people who want to see, assign themselves, or respond to the ticket in the Help Desk. Can the link be adjusted for tickets to always take you to the Help Desk view?   Update: It looks like the link does go to the Help Desk view when a ticket is created during the workflow. Currently, in a random split branch in workflow, HubSpot enforces an equal distribution. Hi, It would be beneficial to have at least a property that indicates the complete update of an outbound activity, such as a call or meeting, since activity-based WF is not (yet) available. Currently, when a call is initiated, the "Last Contacted" property is updated, but the "Call outcome" needs to be manually updated. This manual update makes it impossible to create logic that considers the completed activity as a whole. Therefore, having a "Last activity completed" property would be helpful.
