Currently, round-robin calendars are only true round-robin calendars from a functionality point-of-view. From a personalization point-of-view, they stink.    Once it is determined whose calendar should appear for the contact, you should be able to display the appropriate team member's avatar or custom set image, rather than using the company avatar or a single custom set image for all team members.    The same goes for the meeting link that gets sent out in the invite once a meeting is booked. So while the round-robin calendar uses the specific team members calendar availability, it does not let each member use their own link/room for the meeting.    So... if Team Member A books a meeting for 1pm, Team Member B can't book a meeting for the same time even if they are available, because the meeting link/room will be in use by team member A!   The bottom line is this, in order for round-robin calendars to be true round-robin calendars both in function and personalization, we need to be able to edit the scheduling page and features for each team member included on a round-robin calendar so that it displays each member's scheduling page/calendar, rather than just displaying the same calendar for everyone and pulling in the specific team member's availability.  ...read more

Developers are limited to using version 5.14.0 and can't update themes to version 6.   Who: developers creating themes and markters using themes What/goal: ability to use the latest icon sets Value: adds backwards compatibility   If the theme was created with 5.0.10 it is not possible to update to 5.14.0 because 5.14.0 is not downward compatible with 5.0.10. Updating the icon_set would break the icons on existing website pages where 5.0.10 was used.   Fontawesome introduced downward compatibility with version 6, but since HubSpot doesn't allow version 6, it's not possible to update existing themes. ...read more

The background I am taking care of my company's website mybackhug.com and I was testing its performance (using PageSpeed Insight, Lighthouse Treemap, and GT metrics) and I noticed that our performance score fluctuates over time, even when we don't make any change in the page, and it's overall low, especially on mobiles. I understand that websites hosted with Hubspot are on a shared hosting plan. I enquired about dedicated hosting but I was told that Hubspot does not offer this option for websites (only for email sending ????). My understanding is that this fluctuation in performance (without us changing anything on the page) is affected by the fact that the hosting platform serves other websites as well, which means that, based on the requests they get from each website the speed change. Basically, we see fluctuations from BAD (score 38) to OK (score 50) of our website for reasons beyond our control, and this makes it also difficult for us to assess what changes WE MAKE have a better or worst impact... just because the performance result at each given time is not settled. Adding some smart rule options to the website navigation would be very helpful to have the navigation adapted to different audiences. E.g. a part of our product portfolio is limited to a few countries for legal reasons. This Idea would specifically be for the Customer Portal in relation to the Ticket Permission Settings.  The Idea: Provide an additional option on the Ticket Permissions to allow the Customer Portal to also display tickets created by any Deals that they are associated to.   E.g. Instead of this:   The new options would be something like: Allow your customers to view only tickets that their contact is associated with Allow your customers to view any tickets that their company is associated with Allow your Customers to view any tickets that are associated to any Deals they are connected to   The Justification for the Idea:   Our B2B business model operates within two key categories - End Users of our Product and Partners (as I am sure it is the same for other HubSpot Customers). The Partner Model requires us to work on a 1:1 Deal = Project basis where multiple contacts from different companies via association labels will work to and assist on a particular project.    Not every contact within a Company will want to see tickets relating to a seperate project with another company but will want to see any tickets created / relating to a specific Project and or Deal.  ...read more

Currently, when some private content requires list membership, users that are not members of that list are redirected to the CMS access denied page (/_hcms/mem/denied), which is possible to customize through the use of a HubL template.   One key limitation in customizing that template is that there appears to be no way for the developer/designer to know which page the user had attempted to access that caused them to be redirected there.  Knowing the original page would be highly useful in tailoring the messaging and user experience on the access denied page, so it is possible to give accurate instructions for gaining access to the content they were seeking.   This information does not appear to be available through any of the documented HubL variables.  It also is not available in the HTTP Referer header, JavaScript document.referrer, or the contact's hs_analytics_last_url property because those contain only fully-rendered pages, and the page they attempted to access immediately redirects to the access denied page.   A simple solution for this would be to include the original page id as a query parameter to the access denied page redirect like: /_hcms/mem/denied?attemptedPageId=1234   This information would then be available to HubL through the request.query_dict object, as well as available to any JavaScript on the page. ...read more
