Who Does It Benefit Marketers and Developers Value To Be Gained To restore a value to its default, providing you don't know what the default was, the marketer must remove the module and re-add it to the page. This would help make it easier to safeguard them from accidentally breaking something. Description In global theme settings, HubSpot allows you to easily reset individual settings, as well as reset all of the fields at once--- this is perfect! On the module previewer, you can reset all of the fields at once only. On the page editor, you can't reset individual fields or all fields at once--- you have to manually remove and re-add the module to do so. I feel like there is great value in being able to reset a module, particularly individual fields, as I feel like this is something I often want to do. Especially with the way I am currently using fields and inheriting global theme setting values into field defaults, this would be tremendous to have, and you already have the system established in global theme settings. Make it happen, please HubSpot!

Who Does It Benefit Marketers and Developers (because helping marketers is the developer's job 🙂) Value To Be Gained It would give developers more control and capabilities in providing the proper content to marketers. Description Sure, the current text input will grow when lines are added, and you can enable manually adding new lines, but it's not enough--- some things are simply better suited for longer texts, which is why textareas exist in the first place. So, I propose to either add more control properties to the text field type, consisting of `default_lines`, `max_lines`, and `min_lines`, or preferably, a new field type called `textarea`, which would have the aformentioned properties, and possibly some kind of character limiting property, as seen in current HubSpot textareas:

Could you please consider making the blog templates more granular so that the content creator can modify the experience on different views using drag and drop. Currently you can only add a template for the blog listing page and the single post page. Drag and drop functionality does not apply to the various views (author, main index, topics). Something like how WordPress currently functions: frontpage.php index.php author.php archive.php archive-[topic].php single.php topic.php topic-[topicname].php

For complex fields (groups) with repeaters (occurrence portion added in fields.json) you almost always end up with "Field label 1, Field label 2, ..." in the list which is obviously not expressive of what the user has filled out. For complex fields.... supplying a field value to "sorting_label_field" is useless when the cohesive value being expressed is split over multiple. So, yes you can avoid "Field label 1, ..." by specifying this... But, then you just end up with "trimmed value 1, trimmed value 2" which is equally problematic. Even something as simple as: "sorting_label_field": "{{ subfield1 }} - {{ subfield2 }}" or "sorting_label_field": ["subfield1", "subfield2"], whatever other syntax would go a long way to fixing that. Second example you obviously lose delimiters, portmanteaus, sentence representations etc 1) is preferable for free-form specifications regardless of what the syntax is using braces is likely over-expressive.

Currently, there is no way to restrict the file type or look at the file header when a file is uploaded using a form. Just so everyone is aware, anything can be uploaded. EXEs, Shell Scripts, Java files, you name it, and it is a potential security nightmare for anyone using Hubspot. Imagine a threat uploading something that if clicked, can install ransomware on the computer of someone in your sales team, and it spreads to your internal network. Just an idea. Right now, you have to be somewhat proficient in CSS and HTML to use the design manager for marketing assets such as landing pages and emails. This backend design platform is not very user-friendly and is somewhat confusing to use. I come from a background of frontend design platforms like MailChimp for emails, and Instapage for landing pages. Those platforms were so easy to use and the marketing assets I was able to create were so clean and professional, all because they made it easy and user-friendly for all designers and marketing professionals (all levels, beginner to advance). You can drag and drop elements (picture and text blocks) right onto the design space and see what it loos like right then and there. I feel that HubSpot should really consider a frontend design platform.

On pages requiring many sections, dragging and dropping sections within the editor is very slow and tedious. It would be great if in the left-hand sidebar we could drag and drop sections like with flexible columns and/or if there were clickable up/down arrows on the sections.

When I place an image on a page, I always change the alt tag because I don't want my file name to be the alt tag. However, sometimes I need to find those files later and there is no easy way to do that within Hubspot. Can there be a way within the page editor that it shows the original file name? Thank you!

As a website editor, I have recently noticed that if I'm filtering and searching a list of landing pages (for example looking for Google in the title), I can search and filter on the Landing Pages list for Google keyword. ANd that brings me a filtered list of landing pages with the word Google in them. And if I click through to any of the pages, when I go back, the filtered list is gone, and I have to redo my search. The goals is to improve efficiency, and establish consistency in the way Hubspot works. The value is that I don't need to re-enter my search criteria every time I navigate away from a filtered list. Even when I hit the Back button on my browser, the search filter is not kept. What's interesting is that certain pages in the Hubspot Admin do manage to maintain the search filter, when going back. For example Under CTAs, I can do a filter search for the word Google, and click one, and then when I Click "Back to All CTAs" it brings me back to my filtered search. So it would seem this functionality is already available in some places, but not everywhere. WHy is that? This also works on Forms page. There is a text link: Back to all CTAs, or Forms. This doesn't exist on the Landing Pages however. And how difficult would it be to roll this out for all the internal list pages? thanks, Cybele
