I would love to give sales managers access to create templates for their team, however i don't want to give them super admin permissions for our whole account! Please amend the permissions functionality to allow this.

Currently, lead objects are only visible to users with a paid sales seat. Other departments would benefit from seeing the lead objects and their current stage on contact/company views. This would improve the general overview for: Marketing: Automated hand-overs from sales to marketing based on lead properties (e.g. disqualified reason) [currently lacking visibility/understanding] Marketing: Evaluating generated leads is hard if you cannot see the object CRM Data Management team: It is hard to build automations around lead objects if you cannot see them. Customer Success team: Interesting to see where a newly acquired customer comes from/if a lead is still open if they e.g. convert via the website touchless Business Development Team: Hard to create leads if you cannot see if there are any currently associated to the company Understandable, that working with lead objects is restricted to seats, but read without write permission would be crucial.

We would like to add a feature that prevents that emails can be send out to recipients that are outside the responsible area of a user or team that sends out the email. For example, we want to ensure that an email originating from Spain cannot be sent out by mistake to another country like the Netherlands without proper permission. Background of the idea Currently, there is a possibility of sending out such emails by mistake, leading to people receiving unwanted emails. We know these mistakes can be prevented manually, but relying solely on manual actions to prevent this, is prone to human errors. Therefore, we propose to prevent this within HubSpot's basic configuration too. Moreover, in many countries, legal requirements such as GDPR emphasize the importance of taking all necessary measures to prevent the send out of unwanted emails. Our specific request to HubSpot is to add a checkbox in the settings that restricts email send-outs to the user's responsible area. In cases where someone needs to send emails to multiple areas for which they have no permissions, they can be designated as super admins. However, a warning message should be displayed to indicate the associated risks. Let's help eachother to prevent these mistakes by all means possible.

Admins should be able to restrict users from creating a new Property, There is no such option to restrict, Right now, Since I need to give Edit access to users to the contact property, this is resulting in my Sales Team creating new Properties ona random basis, I started off a few years ago with 200 Properties, right now I have about 400 properties under Contacts Object, Many of them being repeated, Eg. Domain, Domain Name, Users Domain, Domain of the emal Address etc.

Hello everyone, we are relative new to Hubspot, and we came from another CRMs software that are more "restricted" in allowing users to delete information. We know there is the option in Hubspot to restrict user permission to delete objects, like tickets, contacts or deals. However this is only a part of the equation, because they can still delete everything there is inside each object. So far, we have tried 2 scenarios: 1) Make all users "View Only" - This scenario almost solved the problem for us, because with View Only permissions, a user cannot delete any "e-mail, note, os calls" inside the object. The only issue with that scenario is that is not possible to change the object status, like a ticket status for example, move through the pipeline, etc. So we had to throw away this idea. 2) Set all users to Edit only those objects they own. Is this case there is some level of security, because if a user own a ticket he can move through the pipeline, and other users cannot delete any information inside. However it's still possible for the owner to manipulate the recorded information inside, like, deleting e-mails, notes or calls. This is the scenario we are using, however not ideal for the standards of security we are used to in our company. So, what we would like to see as a feature: a check-box with "Allow users to delete activities and communications". That would solve everything. Currently, I can manage permissions for the Contact object so that my sales reps can only edit contacts they own. However, there are no permission options for the Lead object. Therefore, I have noticed that my sales reps can create leads in a contact object that they don't own. It would be great that either: a) Lead inherits from Contact, in where, if I can't edit contacts that I don't own, I therefore can't create leads in that contact. OR b) Add separate Lead settings to where I can be restricted from creating/viewing/editing leads that I don't own.

Users must be super admins to toggle between reps. There is no permission you can assign to a standard user that would grant them access to toggle between reps in the prospecting tool. The only option is to set them as a super admin. It makes sense that not all managers would/should be admins.

Currently, report access can only be managed once the report is saved to the report library. HubSpot's pre-made report templates cannot be managed on an individual user/team level. It would be great if we had the ability to manage access for report templates just like we can for saved reports.

User permissions and pipelines access currently act as two seperate layers. A user's deal/ticket permissions will apply to all sales/service pipelines they have access to. It would be great to have a little more flexibility and be able to upgrade/downgrade a users permissions based specific pipelines. Currently, a user whose deal viewing permissions are set to 'Deals their team owns' will be able to see all their teams' deals in any pipeline they have access to. I'd like to be able to give a user 'Everything' view access to one pipeline while giving them 'Deals their team owns' view access to another.

When exporting the list of users from your settings ("user table"), there are several properties that are available as filters, but are not included in the exported file. Specifically, I would like to request that the "Invite Status" user property be included in the user export file. We are a large organization with many HubSpot users, and therefore automate our user provisioning. Due to variable onboarding schedules, we often have many users at once who are in the "invite pending" status. This becomes a problem, of course, when a user is in a pending status for more than a few weeks. As part of our adoption metrics, we look to determine the percentage of weekly/monthly/etc. active users. Since the user analytics tools cannot do this in the UI (yet!), we export the user list and report via Excel. There are two key problems with the export function, as it doesn't behave in the way a list or index page export does: 1. All records will be exported, even if you have filters applied. For example, when you export a filtered index page, you can export just those records in your filtered view. So if I apply a filter to only show users with an "Invite Status = pending," that will not be reflected in the export. This is problematic for us because it will falsely inflate our total number of users when I'd like to only report on accepted users. 2. There is a lack of consistency between the properties shown in the UI filters and the properties being exported. The following properties are not included in the exported file: Invite status (ironically, this is the very first filter listed on the page, and yet it's not included in the export) Access (this is included, but in the export it's called "Permissions") Calendar status Calendar sync Email status Extra teams (this is included, but in the export it's called "Additional teams") Main team (this is included, but in the export it's called "Primary team") Partner Scheduling pages Seat (the export does include a "Paid seat" property, but it does not specify which paid seat the user holds - it simply says "yes/no") Additionally, when you generate an export, the shown properties are the same each time (and not comprehensive). It should beave similar to an index page or list export where you're asked if you'd like to include all properties or just those in your current view. While gaining export acess to the "invite status" property is my primary objective here, I imagine it is quite frustrating for other customers to not have access to properties like "Scheduling pages" or "Seat" in their exports as well. Please update the user table to behave more like an object index page, and more specifically, update the file export to align with the properties shown in the UI filters.
