We have company customers with very similar or even the same name but in fact they are distinct. E.g. a franchise where two of them become our customers without knowing one another. The same thing happens on contact side, we have the same guy opening one business with e-mail A and another business with e-mail B. Now, becoming a bigger team using Hubspot, it happens too often that someone shows good intent and merges companies or contacts that are actually supposed to stay seperate. At the moment, we add notes to the top of such data set reminding our fellows to not merge. Now, it would be great if you could add the role "allowed to lock/unlock datasets" and an option to "lock" datesets like companies, deals, tickets, contacts etc. and by that prohibit mergers. ...read more

It's annoying when we want to view all emails personel sends to a client but we don't want non sales people to create contacts in Hubspot just by writing to a new email address.   Apparently giving those people no contact modification rights at all still doesn't stop their Hubspot chrome extension from creating contacts whenever writing to new email addresses. ...read more

I'm not Super-Admin and I'm not supposed to get full access rights at account level. Nevertheless I am responsible for the implementation in our website, so I need quite a lot of rights to functions. Unfortunately, functions like chatflows can only be implemented with account-level rights. Every major function in Hubspot should also be manageable individually in the rights. ...read more

It would be great if we could have more granular permissions for Projects! Currently, any user with Marketing access can view all Projects. It would be ideal if we could have a permission setting under Marketing, just for Projects. ...read more

We have multiple locations with salespeople that have different "lead" days and overlapping schedules. We would love to be able to have more functionality added to Meetings so that we could set the following:   Employee Schedule (for example, Employee 1: Mon-Fri; Employee 2: Tue-Sat) Employee Lead days (for example, Employee 1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday; Employee 2: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) We want this all to be utilized in a Team Meeting, and assign meetings round-robin based on the above criteria. ...read more

HubSpot has a permissions feature that restricts newly created content to their creators and teams. Currently, it's an all or nothing setting. This feature would be more useful if there was an option to select which types of new content should be restricted and which shouldn't be.     Use case:   An international enterprise company wants their regional marketing teams to collaborate and for them to be able to see the emails each regional team is creating. There are potential synergies: One regional marketing team can clone assets from another. They should also be able to learn from the performance of certain assets in other regions. However, these teams should not be able to access newly created lists (e.g. from recently imported contacts) and see contacts that are owned by other regional marketing teams, also due to data privacy regulations in different countries.   Without this feature, if a company wants to restrict list access, either access to all written content is restricted (preventing regional teams to learn from each other) or, if emails should remain accessible, someone has to manually and immediately assign all newly created lists to teams.   Thanks! ...read more

There are a set default roles which will be recommended by HubSpot while creating a new user. Those default roles come up with predefined permissions to access various features of HubSpot according to the user title. However those "Default Roles" are only available while creating new users in HubSpot. But, while editing the job roles and permissions of existing users in HubSpot, we do not have access to those "Default Roles" we have to choose the "Saved Roles" created in prior   Hence we request you to give access to "Default Roles" to existing users during the time of editing ...read more

Regarding target account/company assignment there should be a way to cap how many target accounts or companies one person can be assigned ownership of.   For example, my client has SDR's that will be in charge of qualifying companies for salespeople. We would like to limit how many we task one SDR with developing at once so we can maintain a certain level of service for our clients and "quality of life" for our SDR's. Sales teams and Super Admins are spending an insane amount of time manually requesting company/contact ownership and updating the records. With a large team in place, it would be the wild wild west if everyone had permissions to change account ownership. It would be beneficial for sales teams and their admin if a button was imbedded within the account page to request it from the admin. Sending an email or teams one at a time with the link, then the admin having to go in one by one to change ownership is extreamly time consuming. If a list would populate for the super admin, with last contact date, current owner, requested owner, lead stage and an "approve" or "deny" check box or button ,the admin could quickly approve or deny based on the rules of engagement in place.
