Hi, From a system and compliance view, one of the issues we are currently facing is trying to monitor what our users are creating within Hubspot on a daily basis. Whilst ensuring that relevant checks/departments/managers have signed off on what has been created. For tools such as workflows, email templates, email sequences etc. it would be idea for specific users {super admins for example} to receive notifications {or better} be able to set a multi stage approval process {directly within Hubspot} when something new is created. This would help to ensure that what has been created has been checked and signed off by relevant areas/mangers etc. before it goes live. For example; Email sequences / Emails templates We want to give permissions for users to use this. However, by allowing access, risks are attached as we need to ensure that all emails have been created correctly, checked and signed off by relevant departments/managers. This is to ensure that we are not breaching regulatory requirements {financial promotions etc.} and it meets our branding guidelines. Also, when any amendments are made to these templates, the same process above need to be recompleted/signed off.   Currently this is all completed/recorded outside of Hubspot and uploaded by a specfic team. It would be beneficial if we could do this directly in Hubspot. By having a multi stage approval/notification, in which, we could set this as a requirement for Email sequences/Emails templates, ensuring that required approval/chain of approval have been completed.  Also, having an audit log showing who created/edited, who approved etc. would be great for auditing purposes. ... Our sales team does not have access to export contact records, but they do need the ability to export reports. The current permission is all or none, so now we (marketing admins) have to pull the reports and send it to them. It would be great to modularize these permissions. ... Mehr anzeigen

With HubSpot's settings getting increasingly granular over time, requesting access to client portals is also becoming a bigger point of friction. Instead of having to supply a laundry list of permissions detailing every tab and toggle clients must enable when adding users, it would be much easier to allow the new user to specify which permissions they need within HubSpot itself, then a client or portal administrator can simply "accept" or "deny" those permissions, similar to requesting "edit access" in Google Drive applications. ... Custom Owner Propierties work well for Users and Permissions; when assigning the following permissions to a user [See Contacts > Team only], HubSpot takes into account users from HubSpot User Property + User Custom Properties.    However, it doesn't work well when trying to filter a list or a report by Owner or Team properties; some examples:    1. When trying to filter contacts by Owner, it's only taking into account official HubSpot owners and no owners from custom owner properties.  2. When trying to filter contacts by Team, it's only taking into account official HubSpot owners and no owners from custom owner properties.  3. When trying to filter dashboards or reports by Team, it's only taking into account official HubSpot owners and no owners from custom owner properties.    I th would be great if Team/Owner filters take into account users from custom properties. One of the big reasons for Roles in Hubspot is to save time! With that said, many times, roles are very close to each other in the permissions you set but, only need a few tweaks here and there. It would be nice to set a base Role, clone it, and then tweak it to your heart's content! Agree? VOTE IT UP. ... Mehr anzeigen

This feature is for account Super Admins to directly edit User Accounts without requiring individual users to log into HubSpot. For example, I have a team of six sales reps. I have intentionally avoided sending them an invitation email to HubSpot since I am the only person who needs access (Marketing) to our company account. I want to send personalized emails on their behalf and assign contact ownership for various outreach campaigns (monthly newsletters/nurturing/etc.) based on their owned contacts. Currently, HubSpot only allows me (the Super Admin) to create a User Account with an Email Address and doesn't offer any other User info editing access (cannot add their first name, last name, profile photo, etc.) for a User's profile without that User logging in and creating their account in HubSpot. This feature would save loads of time without requiring Account Users to directly log into HubSpot, especially if I do not wish to grant them access to our Company Account. It should be possible to give different levels of access to Workflows.   I would like to be able to give my reps access to view workflows, but not edit them. Some reps I would want to give edit access, but not access to run them.   My ideal scenario would be:   READ: - See workflows   WRITE: - Edit non-live workflows   REVIEW: - Edit, review, and run all workflows ... It would be really helpful to restrict access to subscribe, resubscribe and unsubscribe contact records in the communication subscription section. We need our sales team to be able to see the information on a record but as they don't fully understand the legal information I'd like to limit their ability to change these settings for a record. ... When Sales Reps choose to add a countersigner to a quote, the option is a picklist of HubSpot users. However, that list includes deactivated users. Two ideas to resolve: option of assigning a default counter signer, per pipeline, so that if a countersigner is necessary, the Sales Rep does not need to think about where it should go.  Make "Deal countersigner" part of role permissions so at least the list to choose from are people that should actually be a countersigner   Additionally, if neither of the two options work, deactivated users should never be available as an option to choose in a quote once they are no longer active.  ...
