It would be great if we can customize the follow up tasks title so it's much easier to review at a glance instead of opening each task in our list one by one to see the details. Currently you can only select the date/time to set the follow up.
We want to use "Tasks" more intensively to register and measure all marketing and sales activities.
But we cannot create a user-defined Property - please make this available.
It should also be possible to see "Tasks" on the contact card on the right together with Deals, Tickets and other info.
In Calls you are using "Type" and "Outcome" which is something that could be used but not only on calls but on all activities / tasks
Our workflow could be improved, by implementing additional features in the “tasks” area. Since we mainly work with the contacts and set different tasks to differentiate, it would be great if it was possible to enroll mass and single mails from the tasks. Every task is associated with a certain contact. So the feature to choose one or various tasks and then click “Enroll in sequence” or “Send Mail”, choose a template and send it to the associated contact/s would be incredibly helpful to improve the efficiency of our workflow. Basically, to have the same options in the tasks as you would have in the contact area, if you wanted to send an email. These features could be implemented in the bar where “Edit” “Delete” “Add to queue” and “Mark as completed” are situated. Thanks in advance!
I can no longer re-order tasks within queues which was very useful. I contacted support and was told this feature has been removed to make way for other functionality within tasks, but would be useful if it could be added back in some way.
We use HS marketing and HS services, we are starting to get a lot of projects. Currently there is nothing in place to organize projects. Would be great to create folders for projects so different teams can access their projects faster. Or it least separate HS marketing from HS services.
New to HubSpot and still building out our internal work processes and trying to determine the best manner in which to use Sales > Tasks. It seems to me that Sales > Tasks are missing the ability to comment. I was a 10-year salesforce.com user and found the comment functionality on Tasks to be super-efficient to provide timely progress updates or add additional information after Task assignment. Or, if a specific task required multiple steps or a prolonged time period, the comments provided an excellent place for progress updates towards completion. I see that Sales >Tasks allow me to edit the notes field on the Task, but that doesn't ping the tagged salesperson, sales manager, or required third party with a notification. Interestingly, I see this exact functionality within Marketing > Projects > Tasks. These Project Tasks work just as I would have hoped. Although, the Project Tasks don't allow a tie/reference to a Contact, Company, or Deal. So, my question, is there a plan for the comment functionality of Marketing > Projects > Tasks to be incorporated into Sales > Tasks?
On a daily, weekly, monthly basis, I'd like to be able to see on the Dashboard or Sales Analytics, what sales reps are doing with their tasks.
Did they act on the task? email or call?
Did they change the date of the task?
Did they dismiss the task?
Did they bulk edit task due dates to make it appear they are all caught up?
How many do they have on any given day?
You guys really need to add the ability to assign a task to a queue when creating it in the mobile app. Pretty easy addition that would make life much easier. It is extremely annoying and inefficient to have to go onto the desktop site and manually assign a queue to the 10-15 tasks I created in the mobile app the night before. Realistically there shouldn't be any difference in the features of assigning a task in mobile or desktop.
