You can currently create a task using the workflows; however, you cannot set determing any settings within the task. It would be great if you could Create a task, determine the TYPE of task (call), assign it to a user, assign it to a call queue.
For example - if you have a partner (versus a prospect) that fills out a contact us form, and they identify themselves as a partner persona, then the workflow would create a task to call this user and it is due in 10 days. The task would be assigned to John Doe.
This would be crucial, as you could create call queues based off many characteristics (ie. If they're in california and their persona is "Accountant", assign a call task to Kim that is due in 10 days.). Management would be able to track to ensure all leads are being worked effectively, and measuring outcomes based off the "Log Activity" feature within each contact.
Hi ! We are setting up our internal team management with Hubspot and looking into using Tasks. We find great the Tasks functionality in Sales as well as Projects in Marketing. It's a pity they do not communicate. I understand that currently Project Tasks on the Marketing Platform and Tasks on the Sales Platform are two separate functionalities designed for different purposes. As I understand Project Tasks were designed to organize internal processes for the team such as creating and maintaining a Campaign, or content creation. They are separate from Tasks on the Sales Platform, which were designed to keep track of communication between users and individual contacts throughout the Sales process. In reality things are not so easily distinct and it's a pity they are not integrated. It would really help to be able to add Project Tasks into my general Tasks backlog. In essence, they are quite similar and it would help me to manage team work globally. I imagine using Projects to plan campaigns or other actions and then detail it into specific tasks added into Sales Tasks, the latter being the reference for Tasks management. Hope this suggestion can be adressed !
When creating prospecting sequences for our sales reps, we like to mix in automated emails with call/voicemail follow ups.
Now, Hubspot supports the ability for these automated emails to only be sent on business days.
However, tasks to call our prospects are assigned to sales reps over the weekend. Why can't Hubspot also support the option to make tasks only assigned on business days?
That way, our sales reps are not given "work" to be done over the weekend. Also, sequences are not very effective if you cannot rely on a call task being completed on time, before an automated follow up email is sent out.
I love the board for the ability to set a status on a task, but would like to be able to see those statuses on the table view and then filter or sort by that column.
In the board view I'd like to be able to sort in the column by due date.
One of my customers asked if they would see task reminders as a notification in their Chrome extension, like for emails opened/clicked or website revisits.
As far as I know, this is not a feature that we currently offer, but I'm sure it would be a great one!
It would be valuable to have a filter (or "view") on the task page that allows me to focus just on the tasks that I have not assigned to a specific task queue.
There is a way to look at each task queue individually, but not the tasks that aren't in a queue.
For example, what if make a taks that doesn't apply to one of the Task Queues I have made? As of now, it seems like I need to make a task queue called "General", but it would be nice to not need to make another queue like that.
