When going through a sequence that includes both emails and calls, I think there should be a way to "live" within the sequence and complete the tasks through that page. I love all the places where you can link to workflows that performed actions! This feature would also be helpful in the task history. I use many workflows to assign specific tasks when specific triggers are met. Sometimes I need to track down the workflow that assigns the task in order to update the task going forward - make it assign to a new person, change the instructions in its notes section, etc. Even with all my workflows clearly named and categorized, this can take a while sometimes. It would be helpful if when the task history says "property changed by workflow" it linked to the workflow or even just stated the name of which workflow. ...read more

Sometimes deals can be stuck at some stage of the pipeline and there are no tasks to be completed in order to push them forward. Without checking the deal details there is no way to check which deals have no tasks. It would be nice to be able to filter out the deal with no tasks 'to do'. Most of the times prospects could not be contacted in first attempt and they require more than 3-4 attempts to connect. However, we need to know if our team is making those attempts and hence we ask them to log all call attempts whether they are successful or not.  However the assigned tasks get auto completed even if the user logs a call where prospects could not be reached and requires further attempt.    Creating a followup tasks also does not help as it is very difficult to back track all followup tasks to find the original tasks and consumes loads of our time.  IDEA: Task completion should be kept independent and only when user marks it complete its status should change. It would be great to have an option for tasks to cancel versus close. Sometimes our Sales teams aren't able to get to all of the assigned tasks for mutliple reasons. It would be helpful to have the option to cancel versus just delete/close.   We want to be able to track what's NOT getting done along with what is. This helps our management team determine if we need more staff, an employee needs more training, we have too many things on one person's plate, etc. Ideally we would love reporting to let us know what we "lost out of on" to have a better overall picture.   We previouslly used Microsoft Navison ToDo's and it had this feature which really helped. Hi all,   I am a user for Sales Hub Starter.   When automating a task based on a Pipeline Update, i.e, the Deal moves from Opportunity to Quoted, you can only select as a Due date the options of:   1. Inmediately 2. On a specific date, which is set as xxx days and xxx hours from the task creation   What if you could also add a 3rd option as    3. On a specific date, which is set as xxx days and xxx hours before the closing date of the deal.   If you also integrate your Calendar/Outlook with Tasks, you can have ALL AUTOMATED TASKS in your Agenda. This can be a GREAT REMINDER for everyone, to take actions BEFORE the deal expires.    In my case, this is absolutely the best improvement I could ask to Hubspot. You made a great work when you developed the integration between tasks and calendar, which was requested by the comunity for a long time, but this minor detail could improve it a lot!   Many thanks for reading Erik     ...read more

When creating tasks during processes like creating an e-mail, logging notes, etc, not being able to specify titles or categorize makes for messy organization and an inability to understand what tasks are for later on.     I find I'm always modifying the task after the fact. This is primarily due to the 'title' or 'subject' of the task that tells me what it is the task is for. The secondary reason is due to the categorization.    This is a major waste of time and sometimes when busy, I'll skip that part and it'll cause me great pain later as I can't tell what any of the tasks are actually for since the default values aren't very helpful.   It would be great if the process of creating a task via these methods would allow modification of these values.  It might be good if there was an expandable area at the bottom you can use when you select the checkbox to allow filling out those additional fields like the title.   Thanks for your consideration.  ...read more

Proposed feature: Having the ability to create preset or template "tasks" that we can use to make task creation easier.    It would be great if we could have the ability to set up certain task templates or presets that could automatically have the "Due date", "Type", "Priority", "Queue", and "Assigned to" customized by OUR team. Similar to a snippet, if we were able to use a hashtag (#) to bring up all of the standardized fields for a task that we set (including title) would be extremely helpful.    What does this look like? Let's say our team gets a service call. We add notes to the call, create the title, but then it becomes pressing to change all of the settings of the task each time we create a call. Using a workflow to do this is not sufficient. The proposed change would allow us to select a standardized task that we set up (customized task examples: Facebook comments, voicemail follow-ups, initial outreach on a service call, questionnaire follow-ups, etc.) and it would populate the task for us (so we only had to make limited adjustments when creating or finalizing task creation). Can we please, please get the ability to duplicate tasks on the marketing calendar? For example, I often plan social media posts ahead of time for the week. This week, I planned a campaign where every day has a different food featured. They're all part of the same campaign, have the same assignee, have the same notes, and have the same title except for one word ("Social posts: Feijoada" or "Social posts: Ceviche"). It would make it SO much easier if I could create the task, then duplicate it so all I have to do is change the word in the title and move it to the correct day. Honestly, I'm kind of shocked this isn't already possible as it seems like such a basic feature.  It would also be fantastic if we could copy an entire month and duplicate it for the next month. I use basically the same schedule for each month, and it would be so helpful and save me so much time if I could duplicate the month and reuse it, just changing the specifics.  Alternatively, it would be good to set up recurring tasks. For example, every Monday we publish a blog post. I'd love to be able to set up the task "Blog Post" for every Monday, assigned to XYZ, etc. without having to manually enter it 52 times.  ...read more
