Hello, when noting a comment in a task through call, note or e-mail it forces you to close that task.  It does give you an option to create a new task but this task was to set a meeting with my customer for example.  I want my sales rep to log their activity but the task hasn't been completed.  Can you  add another button to give you the option to log the calls, notes and e-mails without being forced to close the task?   Thanks, Mark Schmitz ...read more

The quick task review is a great feature that helps you quickly go through any incomplete tasks, however it could be improved by prioritising jumping to the linked ticket (if linked), rather than the company.   It can be difficult to find your task/ticket within the company page if the company has a lot of tasks. eg, some of our suppliers may have 10 open tasks at one time, all linked to tickets.   The tickets hold all the related communications including internal notes, it would greatly speed up our ability to check off our tasks if we can go straight to the linked ticket.   This quick task banner at the top of the page is what I'm referring to:   ...read more

Some members of our team are moving from using Gainsight into using Hubspot. In doing this, they thought that there is some functionality that would be helpful to be seen from Hubspot. One idea that they brought was having the ability to create multiple tasks from one activity. This would be useful when there are multiple different tasks with different timelines that come from a single activity or when there need to be different assignees for different tasks. Two ideas: 1. Enable to choose which tasks to sync to google calendar  2. Enable to not being able to create two different tasks for the same time, for example when having created a task with due date for 10:00 the next tasks could be auto-suggested for 10:05 or 10:10 depending on what settings I chose. ...read more

When moving into Hubspot, a lot of Activities were logged by someone other than the owner of the activity. So, when narrowing down on a user's/owner's activity at the Company level, the activity log comes up blank because those activities were not logged by the owners.    It would be great if we could reassign activities (like logged emails, notes, etc) the same way we can reassign tasks! When selecting multiple tasks, you can change the title, for example, for all the selected tasks. However, once the new title is validated, all the selected tasks are deselected. This was not the case before. The problem? The problem is that when you want to make several mass changes to the same tasks, such as changing the title, date, type, priority, etc., you have to reselect all the tasks one by one each time. Furthermore, if you have a filter in progress, when making a modification, the tasks can exit the filter, making it impossible to reselect them to continue changing attributes. ...read more

tasks are great tool in hubspot. but unfortunatly you have to give "contact write permissions" to users who should be able to edit their assigned tasks. that makes often no sense in daily business. it should be possible to handle the user permissions more flexible. ...read more

In my role as a sales/consultant I offer my services to different clients and it is great to use hubspot crm, connected with my gmail inbox to engage with clients (contacts in CRM) and manage specific details per client (companies in CRM). managing my to do's per client is a different story.   I would like to be able to track my progress and manage my todo's per client so I can get a clear overview of what I (and other assignees) need to do per client. For this I would like to be able to pin tabs of tasks, filtered on ASSOCIATED COMPANY (or deal or contact).   Context: The tabs feature on the tasks screen would be perfect. using this I would be able to pin tabs (one for each client) and manage all tasks of all assignees in one overview. assuming I manage roughly ten clients the tasks screen would provide me with enough room to pin one tab per client.   The tabs on the task screen provide filters on the task object itself (or directly related to it) so you can filter on assignee, task type, etc. You can't filter on associated company, associated contact or associated deal (or any of the properties on those objects) and that is exactly what's needed here.   So, in short: please add associated object properties as filters to the task screen. ...read more

Hi,   We just went through an effort to get our sales team to use Hubspot tasks to track follow-ups.  We often customize those task subjects + task notes when we create a task.   All of that's great until we need complete a task and create a follow-up (using the automatic follow-up creation per what's under User Preferences).   When that follow up gets created, that customized task subject and task note are dropped entirely, and the new task has a procedurally generated subject line that is not based on the previous customized subject line.   Can an option to default follow up tasks to use the same subject line + notes as their triggering completed task be added?  I have a sales team up in arms over this, and it's making my pitch to get our team consistently logging things in the CRM much, much harder than it needs to be.  Thank you! ...read more
