Currently, there's no customization for holidays and business days in Sequences. There's no efficient way to exclude any specific days when setting up a sequence. The only option available now is to exclude "Business Days", which is just Mon-Fri for every week, not taking any holidays into account.    It'd be nice to have the customizable option to: 1) Exclude any specific day 2) Custom our own "Holiday Calendar" and exclude these days   Additionally, once there are contacts enrolled to a sequence, edits to "delay time" in between steps do not reflect on currently enrolled contacts. There main issues I found through testing. I want HubSpot to support Aptos as a default font for emails (from the email editor, and in sequences). I have set Sans Serif set as the font family in HubSpot and when and typing directly in the Editor, my emails are sent using Arial. (Note: Microsoft replaced Arial with Calibri in 2007 and with Aptos in 2024) I consistently use size 11 in e-mails from Outlook (if I copy draft Aptos text into Hubspot, the Aptos font is used when  HubSpot sends the mail, however, HubSpot consistently changes the size to 12 when it sends the mail, why? I use Outlook and iPhone for manual e-mail and both clients have recently replaced Calibri with Aptos as the default font. Aptos belongs to the Sans Serif font family and it is described as the perfect font for high-resolution screens. In HubSpot, I cannot pick Aptos as a font, I can only pick a font family. When picking Sans Serif as font family HubSpot uses Arial as the font. How can I update it to Aptos? Calibri replaced Ariel in Outlook and Word in 2007. Aptos does work as a font in HubSpot if I copy and paste it into the mail editor or a sequence but there is an additional bug too. If I draft a message in Outlook using Aptos size 11 (as per my default setting) and copy this text into any kind of mailout from HubSpot or a sequence, HubSpot will send the message using Aptos but the size changes to size 12. I tested it with sizes 14,13,12,11,10,9,8 and HubSpot consistently changes the size of any text (and this includes other text further down in the mail thread) from sizes 11 and 13 to size 12. Currently, templates that include tokens that are tied to a category in HubSpot will send regardless of whether or not that information populates within the body of the email. It makes it very easy to send a messed up email to a prospect with missing information.   P.S. - Outreach.io has this feature and it makes a huge difference. Hi, I want to set up sequencing to automate follow-up pings to qualified leads that have not responded within X days. We are using the Sales Hub Enterprise and can trigger sequences on different criteria. The major issue is that we want to continue the earlier conversation and not start a new one. The way that attribution for email sequences is currenlty set up casues there to be an inflation of the sequence performance. Currently, when you enroll a contact into a email sequence, any new deal created for that contact will be attributed to that email sequence. A new deal could close for a contact 5 days after the email send and another 60 days after the email send. Both will show under sequence performance.  A new deal could close for a contact that was entered into a sequence 90 days later that did not close as a result of the sequence. However, because they were enrolled in a sequence before that new deal is added to the performance numbers.    I would suggest that the first deal that closes within 30-45 days of the email sequence is counted. Hi everyone,   I have come across an incredibly annoying feature of HubSpot that I wanted to share here to see if other people have experienced it....   It is to do with email subject lines not tracking and threading through in sequences.    For arguments sake, let's say I create a sequence with 2 steps.   First step is a manual email. With the Subject line 'First Step'.   Second step is an automated email, but HubSpot forces me to pick a template.   And email templates, I am forced to pre-determine my subject line. For this example, let's say the template subject line is 'Hello'.   So when the 2nd automated email comes around after the pre-determined amount of time has passed since email 1 has been sent out.    The subject line changes, from 'First Step' to 'Hello' and kind of looks like a new email.   Although the thread of email 1 is still, sort of in the body of my automated email 2. Thje subject is different, and it looks like a whole new email, and not really like a thread.   This problem also happens with manual emails. So let's say in the previous example, I choose a manual email as my seond step. When I am prompted to write my second manual email when going through my tasks for the day, the email box pops up, but I am unable to see my previous email in the box, and the subject line hasn't been populated with my previous subject line (that being 'first step').   From testing, if I manually copy and paste 'first step' into the subject line for manual email 2 of the sequence, it then does go out and looks like a single, threaded email, but I would much prefer if this subject line was already populated with my original subject line from email 1.   (for context, I am setting up these sequences and prompting HubSpot to relate email 2 to email 1 in a thread).    So 2 things I would loce changed.   Automated emails to have a 'related to email 1' function available for the subject line for me to populate in my template.    Subject lines (and body of email) to appear in manual emails that are related to another email.    Thanks! ...read more

We have noticed that when using sales templates and offering the unsubscribe link there is soo much space between the copy of the email and the unsubscribe copy. Right now, if you want to get rid of that space, each person would have to do that manually. Which sales people just aren't going to remember to do or do. I would love to control this through my admin dashboard or on the actual templates.      From Support:    I've done a lot of research on this and have found similar comments from other customers however unfortunately at this time the spacing here is by default in the compose window and it can't be customized (other than manually when you compose an email), I can see there have been some requests internally in the past but not enough as of now there has not been enough feedback to warrant updating this as it would be a portal wide edit to all user accounts ...read more

Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more

It looks like there have been requests for this since August of 2022, but I am requesting it again at the direction of support. Sequences are about automation and making sure that we can act on our leads quickly and efficiently. To that end, I feel it would be a simple improvement (and an important one for urgency and speed to lead), to allow for follow-up automated emails to go out to prospects on the same day as a completed task.  For example: 1. I complete a step to call a prospect and do not connect with them. 2. I want to send an auto-email to their inbox letting them know that I just tried to call them and outline the reason for my call. Right now, the minimum speed I could get that email to a prospect within the sequence is the following business day. Let's make this change so we can get our leads moved through sequence faster and get our calendars in front of them sooner. ...read more
