There needs to be a better line of sight for the number of sales sequences scheduled to be sent on certain days. This also needs to be visible when creating the sequence. This would benefit both sales leaders and sales teams as it would help prevent users from enrolling too many contacts into a sales sequence. And, if too many users end up enrolling into the sales sequence, there should be a better way to manage the send cap other than not sending the email. Some of the necessary functionalities already exist in Sales Loft and Outreach.
Proposed Solution
A possible solution would include 3 new functionalities.
A total enrollment dashboard with a scheduling calender to determine when in the future would be a good time to start the sequence. Scheduled Send Forecast
A total number of emails is schedule to be sent on the scheduled day when enrolling contacts, including estimates with and without emails blocked by tasks. Email Scheduling Load
Pause and send the emails on the next available day, prioritizing the longest waiting emails first.
(Optional) This would require a predictive model determining the average time it takes a user to complete a task blocking a sequence, and forecasting sends based on how long it takes them to complete. This could include the functionality of auto-completing tasks if they are not completed within a certain timeline.
