Currently when setting up a sequence and staying in the same email thread, the subject line stays the same. As a user, when viewing your sequence, it shows reply emails as "Re: Subject Line", however when the actual emails get sent, they appear as "Subject Line" only to the recipient. This is confusing for the user. Plus I believe open rates would be higher if "Re:" appeared in the subject line for reply emails. ...read more

It would be nice to enroll contacts not using the contacts list but within the contact record itself. Also, to use sequences for different business units is highly needed! Right now, every unsubscribe link will lead to the preference center of the "main" account.  ...read more

It would be great for sequences and marketing emails if you could set filters for the clicks through time after sending - i.e. HubSpot would only count clicks if its more than 1 minute after it was delivered. This would better help us filter out who is actually interested and interacting with our emails from the security features on emails that auto-open and auto-click links scanning for risks. ...read more

How often have you updated messaging in an email sequence hoping that the already enrolled contacts would receive the new verbiage? Far too often I find myself tweaking verbiage in my email sequences but the contacts continue to receive the preexisting content.    It would be great to have a feature that allows enrolled contacts to receive updated messaging.    When it prompts, "Currently there are 110 contacts enrolled in this sequence", it should give you the option to "Update sequence for enrolled contacts?". Currently, sequence filters have to be toggled everytime the sequences tool is accessed. It would be great if we could have saved view options (like we see in contacts) when accessing sequences. If someone books a meeting through the meetings link in a sequenced email, it counts towards the meeting rate for that sequence. What often happens for my clients though, is that the prospect doesn't book a meeting using the meetings link in the first two sequenced emails sent, so the sales rep gets a task to call them - on the call, they're able to schedule a meeting.    That calling task is part of the sequence, and often there are additional emails and call follow ups scheduled after it is completed. BUT if you book a meeting while on a call with someone, the scheduled meeting won't be attributed back to the sequence even though the contact is still currently enrolled in the sequence and the call that led to the booked meeting was an action from the sequence. This causes 2 problems - inaccurate meeting rate reporting for the sequence, and contacts stay enrolled in sequences even though they acheived the goal - they just achieved it over the phone rather than through email - requiring sale reps to have to create supplemental reports and to remember to manually unenroll the contact from the sequence.   Please make it possible to attribute booked meetings from call tasks to the sequence's meeting rate - it would be great if sales reps had the power to choose. Like an option to tick when booking the meeting would appear saying something like "hey this contact is currently in a sequence, did this booked meeting come from an action in the sequence" (if yes, the meeting would get attributed and they'd get unenrolled from the sequence - if not, they stay enrolled and the meeting doesn't get attributed)   Also would be nice that even after a sequence ends, if someone books a meeting using a link from one of the sequenced emails later if that could get attributed back to the meeting rate of the sequence, but I already saw there's an idea out there for this.  ...read more

I've been working with sequences for a while now and have some nice suggestions here.    It would be great to have the opportunity to make changes in a sequence without unenrolling and reenrolling existing contacts.   Example: I created a sequence with 3 steps, and after the first step was sent, I decided to change the subject name. To do this, I should unenroll contacts - make changes - reenroll (since the changes don't affect the already enrolled contacts). Plus, when I reenroll the contacts, I don't want to send my first email to them one more time, so I have to delete this step before enrollment. BUT I will lose the info about open rates and replies when I delete this step 🙂   For now, the best way for me to make changes and save the rates from the first step is to create another sequence with two steps that should be sent, but they won't be sent as a part of the thread, and that's bad.    Please, add the opportunity to make changes in the sequence (to edit the email, the subject line, to change the days for the next steps) without reenrolling the contacts.
