Situation 1. Enrolling prospects into sequences where the first step is an automatic email. 2. I want to schedule my emails to go out at a specific time (mornings) and day.   Complication 1. The default "Send Time" is "Send Now". 2. When you enroll them with the Send Time as "Send Now", they start going out immediately and FAST (multiple per minute). 3. So, if you forget to delay the send, you can accidentally email a list of prospects later on a Friday afternoon 😄   It also makes it dangerous to send customized greetings like "Hope you had a nice weekend", or "hope you enjoyed the Chiefs game this weekend" because if you forget to schedule it for Monday, it's going to go out whenever you hit "enroll".   Solution ideas 1. Force the user to choose every time. That makes a ton of sense to me. If you don't leave it as "Send Now", then you would have to choose some other arbitrary time to default it to. 2. Choose an arbitrary time (say you determined it using AI ;D ) to default it to, like in the morning on the next business day. 3. Have a delay send for 5 minutes to let people undo     I have used Reply.io and Woodpecker, and they both have, IMO, better scheduling features, including this one. ...read more

Hi,   I was very suprised to find out that you can't have multiple steps in a sequence on the same day. For example, I might want a LinkedIn connection request and a phone call step on the same day. Or, an auto-email being sent out and a LinkedIn in-mail on the same day etc.   "Best practise" sequences/cadences strongly suggest to have a couple of steps on the same day to maximise outbound connections when SDR/BDR's are trying to generate and connect with outbound leads.   Having used Outreach and Salesloft previous, these competitors both have this functionality. ...read more

I think it would be really useful to add a "Task Template/List" feature to the Tasks function of HS.  What I am talking about is: You create a list say "New Client Tasks"  For users that use the CRM but have other systems like DotLoop or xyz where there are tasks that are done off-site this would be a great way to keep track of tasks and productivity In that list you create say 10 -20 Tasks  You will be able to create a hierarchy of tasks that need to be done sequentially (either by date or in list view  in the order the tasks should be completed if date isnt the best way to sort them) You will be able to Name the task with the action without continually having to rewrite the task name Auto-populate the task list to your open tasks  when associated with a contact  if the date was the way the hierarchy was set  up then it will populate with the existing views of "today, tomorrow, this week, this month..." ...read more

Today more people respond via SMS messaging (text) than emails. It would be nice if you can build a sequence and integrate SMS templates.  It's on option on workflows so it should be an option on sequences.  ...read more

Currently, when an inbox disconnects from HubSpot, the sequence bulk unenrolls everyone at whatever point the inbox disconnected. In order to re-enroll contacts at the correct place in the sequence (rather than have them receive any steps more than once), you have to export, create lists, and re-enroll manually.  Since inboxes can be disconnected due to a variety of IT security parameters or other issues, this is a fairly frequent occurrence that greatly disrupts prospecting and sales activities.   A better solve for this would be that, in the case of an error on the sequence that occurred due to an inbox disconnection, the contact gets paused in the sequence, rather than unenrolled. That way users can easily reconnect their inbox and unpause contacts where they left off.  ...read more

Many in my team would love to be able to see upcoming steps (tasks) of a sequence before the actual due date. For instance: I create a sequence and the 3rd step (an email task) is due on 16th August. I would like to be able to go into the tasks section on the 15th August, hit the due date filter to be tomorrow and see the upcoming tasks for tomorrow the day before. And this could be for any length of time. Currently the task is only created on the day it is due when the task is part of a sequence. Outside of sequences individual created tasks and single follow-up tasks show up as you have physcially created them but with sequences Hubspot as a system doesn't create the task until the day it is actually due.   Hope this makes sense,   This feature would be so so so useful ...read more
