We should be able ungate content without a redirection to an ungated or password protected page. See discussion below for rationale. Today: Smart content + "lists" can support this function but are not fast enough leaving the user on the page with the gate still functional. Feature request. A personalizable interstital modal that indicates progress to the visitor, "We are processing your request" Etc. Maintain the modal on the page for a set time or until the contact completes a selected workflow. Refreshes the page to reveal the ungates content. A fancier version of this would include some form of count down timer or progress bar. Even fanicer would be a time-out option so if the workflow doesn't complete in X seconds they can go to a LP with appropriate messaging. "We had technical issue processing your request. We have emailed the document to you, etc., " This would functionally support the linked work-around - without forcing a redirect. Redirect vs Refresh I'm not a full fledged SEO, but I know time on page is important -- esp. if the visitor came from a paid link, I'm perhaps falsing assuming that a refresh is better than a redirect.
