I present my ideas on the impact of SEO optimization and backlink work, especially on Google Maps. 1. Google Maps and Local SEO: Local SEO allows businesses to reach users in a specific location. Entering business information accurately and consistently on platforms such as Google Maps and Yellow Pages increases the findability of the business for users. Keeping information such as address, phone number, logo and location name up-to-date and accurate can help Google trust your business and rank you higher. 2. Backlinks and Google Maps: While backlink work for websites can often be perceived as spam, the situation seems to be a little different for Google Maps. According to my own experiments, backlinks prepared for Google Maps send positive signals to the platform and positively affect the rankings on Maps. My experiences: When optimizing for Google Maps, it is important to remember to use information compatible with other platforms and keep this information up to date.
