I love the concept behind the new topic clusters and think it's absoultely the future of SEO, with the advancement in voice search the days of people just using one keyword are all but gone, so clustering is a great way to create content moving forward.   It would be great if the view could be changed from the one display which is like widget boxes and have a list layout and also to be able to search for terms within clusters to ensure there is minimal overlap.   When your core topic has several sub-topics it's much more likely to happen. ...read more

I use Hubspot social posting tools every day and I'm a big fan. I'd love to see a "Content Suggestion" feed or tool of some kind to help us find relevant content and topics to post to social media. The same tool would be helpful for writing our own content as well. Currently, I use BuzzSumo and a variety of other tools like Feedly to do this. ...read more

I've just launched my HubSpot CMS website and I'm in love with the SEO Recommendations tool! It's comparable to other paid SEO/Accessibility tools I've used in the past besides a bit of functionality I'm hoping can be fixed over time.    1. One critical fix I'd like to see is the ability to schedule a regular scan of the website (primarily for broken links).   2. I'd love to see a short summary of key fixes required in the email report/notification each time the automated scan is complete.    3. Ideally, users could customise the priority areas they want to tackle and identify team members they want notified of the scan and fixes required.    These things will really help my small team stay on top of important issues for our website.    I've seen some other great ideas suggested (which I've voted on) for allowing you to assign users to a problem, and also track progress over time. I present my ideas on the impact of SEO optimization and backlink work, especially on Google Maps. 1. Google Maps and Local SEO: Local SEO allows businesses to reach users in a specific location. Entering business information accurately and consistently on platforms such as Google Maps and Yellow Pages increases the findability of the business for users. Keeping information such as address, phone number, logo and location name up-to-date and accurate can help Google trust your business and rank you higher. 2. Backlinks and Google Maps: While backlink work for websites can often be perceived as spam, the situation seems to be a little different for Google Maps. According to my own experiments, backlinks prepared for Google Maps send positive signals to the platform and positively affect the rankings on Maps. My experiences: When optimizing for Google Maps, it is important to remember to use information compatible with other platforms and keep this information up to date. At this moment I have to remove URL's manually to exclude from the XML sitemap. It would be great if there is also an option to make sure that only the "clean" pages will be included in the XML sitemap. For example:  If I redirect a page, ideally, the URL is then immediately removed from the XML sitemap. Same for canonical pages, I want to give the right signal for Google and an automatically function saves time and concern about conflicting signals for Google.  ...read more

Add a column to the SEO recommendations where HubSpot users can be assigned the items from the list.   From a PM perspective, this makes it easier to know who will tackle what.   I wouldn't send individual email notifications for each assignment, but maybe consider having an option to "email team" when all tasks are assigned.   Alternatively, allow for comments so the PM can notify others when ready to start working on improvements.   Instead of having the option to Hide, which also hides from future scan, include a temporary "mark complete" option so it is easy to know what you and your team have updated.   Tracking what is done and not done causes unnecessary scans to be run if changes are made over the course of a longer timeframe.   ...read more
