Dear HubSpot Product Team, I am writing to suggest an improvement to the HubSpot-Salesforce integration regarding how associations are handled when records are restored. Currently, if a HubSpot record and its synced Salesforce record are both deleted and then the Salesforce record is restored, HubSpot does not automatically recreate the corresponding HubSpot record. Furthermore, when adding associations (such as a Project or Contact) to the restored record in Salesforce, HubSpot currently removes these associations in Salesforce because the associated record no longer exists in HubSpot. From a user perspective, this is undesirable. Since the integration is managed by HubSpot, the system should recognize the command from Salesforce to associate objects rather than sending a command back to Salesforce to remove the association. I am requesting a feature enhancement where: 1. Restoring a synced record in Salesforce triggers the restoration or recreation of the corresponding record in HubSpot. 2. HubSpot respects new associations made in Salesforce on restored records instead of deleting them during the sync process. This change would ensure better data integrity and a more logical workflow for teams managing records across both platforms. Best regards, Amal Jood
