Problem: At the moment, Insights does not work for every field properly. Within our database, we have a lot of duplicate companies because companies have multiple URL variations (i.e. www.brand.co.uk / www.brand.com /www.sub.brand.com, etc)    When we're merging these company accounts, we're losing visibility of all the different URLs as it's just keeping the most recent one.    Please can you amend the process to keep a fields records when merging, and not delete anything? Perhaps set up a review process which asks what you want to do with company data in fields that are both (keep, replace, keep both).  ...read more

Posting on behalf of my customer:   Currently, view and edit access for the sales forecast tool shares the same permission setting with view and edit access for sales goals (See HubSpot user permissions guide here). There are use cases where this is not ideal however, such as if a sales manager would like to manage the sales goal(s) for a given user (restrict their edit permission) while still allowing them to update their forecast (enable edit permission). It would be great if these could be separated into two individual permission settings to meet similar use cases where having a shared permission isn't desired. ...read more

Hey @hubspot - having customizable tabs on company, contact, and deal pages would be immensely helpful.   The data recorded in our customizable property fields are much more important than what's tracked in the activity, emails, calls, and meeting tabs. We'd like to present these property groups in the center of the page for a cleaner, more accessible look instead of cramping the info on the left sidebar.   Allocating valuable space in the center of the page for our most important data would greatly increase our desire to stick with HubSpot instead of moving to a different, more customizable CRM.   Photo of tabs and property groups for reference: ...read more

Hi HubSpot Team,    It would be AMAZING to be able to create a workflow that allows you to move a Deals stage automatically after an email has been sent to the associated contact. This is possible with Tickets, where the Ticket can move status if you send an email/the Contact replies, however, it is not possible with Deals.    This would allow us to automate more of the Sales process in a Deal pipeline. E.g: The Deal could move from 'Quote Created' to 'Quote Sent' if we had this type of property/automation.    Thanks, ...read more

If a user has the mobile app installed on their phone, they will automatically receive push notifications whenever a new meeting is booked with them.   Unfortunately, there are two huge flaws with this functionality:   1) The meeting time displayed in the notification will always be in the account's default time zone, rather than the time zone for the user's mobile device or the time zone that was selected when the meeting was booked. This is understandably problematic for national or international businesses with reps that span time zones.   Support has told me that they are aware of this issue, however it would be a very large/complicated project to address so it is not currently on the roadmap. Which....is what it is, I suppose. We *could* live with this if not for issue #2...   2) The meeting time in the push notification does not include *any* time zone. This is understandably very confusing for sales reps, especially if they receive a calendar invite and email notification at the same time with different meeting times - this slows them down and adds to the mental load of managing their day-to-day workload.   We're "lucky" in the sense that our reps only work across 2 time zones - US Central Time and US Eastern time. For the half of our sales force that is in Eastern, they can do the quick math in their head and add an hour to the meeting time (that is, if they are aware that the default is the account time zone -- and I'm sure not all of them will remember this). But what about international companies? Or those with reps in both Hawaii and New York? I can't imagine how frustrating this must be.   Requesting that HubSpot please, at minimum, add the default account time zone to the push notification so users know they need to review the time further.   ...read more

Apparently most Hubspot users operating in Europe send out Meeting Links to exising contacts instead of embedding them on their websites. When collecting personal data from prospects all of us need to make sure we have the explicit consent to process that data. The Hubspot Forms in the Marketing Tools in fact pay respect to that by enabling Hubspot users to add/edit the respective field to the form: after enabling GDPR settings generally or for a specific form you can edit the form and under other form fields add or edit the GDPR field; the drop down let's you choose between legitimate interest, - which you should choose only if you know what you are doing - a checkbox for consent for communication and a simple text for data processing (which is standard for no reason if you ask me), or checkboxes for both consent for communication and consent for data processing (the latter is then automatically a required field as it should be). Only the last option is the safe option here; the "standard option" should only be used if you already have this contact in your crm and have the consent from another source; it is practical when you additionally want your contact to join a marketing list for example.   Now to the actual issue I and basically all Hubspot users operation in the EU have: when we send out a Meetink Link to a contact we obviously do have the consent from another source to process their data or we would be in dangerous violation of the GDPR. BUT when we want to embed the meeting link on a website to turn prospects into leads I need to have that additional consent for data processing checkbox. Sadly when we edit the form that is integrated into the Meeting Link there is no way to add that. Although it would have been logical to add it here when it was added to the GDPR form field... this was pretty new in 2020 IIRC... so apparantly nobody noticed this discrepancy in the last 3 years. Except I pointed it out 3 years ago while working for a different company. So how about someone at Hubspot implements the same option Forms have to the Meeting Link forms? In the attachments box under object: contacts - the space for each attachment name is cropped halfway, and is not using all the space, just half the available 'real estate', please increase it to use the full available space and it'd be nice to get the date of that attachment received in there as well.  Previewing docx files does not work. When building workflows, I often find myself wanting to turn on or off specific actions within an active workflow. For example, if I build a task creation action that has personalization tokens, schedule, recipients, and other customized data, I don't want to delete that in order to turn off the task creation. I would like to be able to switch it off, while having the broader workflow still active, so that I don't have to re-create it later. ...read more
