I'm a big fan of the new recurring revenue deal properties and the report template that's offered: (Reports -> Sales Outcomes -> Revenue (Beta)). However, I understand the template uses Close Date as the beginning date for the recurring revenue. This doesn't work for us. We often close deals in, say, April, that have a term of July - June. It would be much more effective if a custom property - such as Period Start Date - could be used instead of Close Date. Also, the report is viewable Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. Why not Quarterly or Annually? Both of these changes would turn a somewhat useful report into a critically valuable one.
