When our sales team is using documents, our infographics do not render well in the tracked documents link. It shows the entire .pdf on one page, which looks like a long, skinny graphic you cannot read until you download it. If we could preset the zoom so the infographic presents nicely, that would be ideal.    This is an example of what it looks like:    We'd love the option to set the zoom so it looks like the below instead: Our fear is people will just close the window rather than taking the next step to download the document.   Thanks, Rachel   ...read more

We would like to add new filterable columns to our Sales/Documents repository, such as tags (like in the blog) or the connection of employees who can be stored as responsible persons even if they have not uploaded the document themselves. This way, employees always know who is the expert/creator for this document and can ask the right person for changes if necessary. In addition, a column for descriptions or instructions (free text) would be great so that employees know exactly what is in it or how to deal with the document. When selecting a document while writing an email, there is no reflection of the document organization via folders. See the example here. We have an "archive" folder where we put older versions of the same document. It is ridiculous you can't create subfolders in this section, besides it doesn't make sense that you have two different sections for each department (Marketing & Sales), and you cannot upload a simple image in the Sales Documents section.  It is deceiving to make my sales reps go to the marketing files when that section is clearly meant for marketing, not for both departments.  This needs to change, the sales documents section should have the same ability that the marketing files section.  My team has documents that are exclusive to sales, including pngs that cannot be uploaded because of these limitations. Storing SALES documents or files in the MARKETING file manager under MARKETING DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL.  Same thing with templates, those sales templates cannot be as editable as generating a marketing email. I am new to HubSpot, and the Quote Design Beta Editor is basically not useful at all.  If this was a $2,000 a year software tool, then you'd have an excuse to state "use what we have," but when paying over $20,000 a year, your software's customization, which requires contracted coders, is poor customer service at best. Your product dev team should pride themselves in allowing direct customers to self-manage their customization to a large degree, not a small degree. To the project development team who coded it (Quote Designer) up, you should spend time with various salespeople and business owners.    My feedback: Some line items require a very lengthy product description, and your inability to allow user column width control is a big miss. The one template that allows for a long product description omits the total of the unit "cost" time "quantity," forcing our customers to break out calculators to see what the line is actually costing them...add the line total to stop this oversite. The proposal/quote must state a business's Standard Terms and Conditions without having to type in a Snippet every time. An appended last page would work fine that is user-editable and saved in the template. This is a legal thing. HubSpot should have an Avatax configured Quote, Sales Order, and Invoice template. Just play with an Avatax configured instance, and you will see the issue is sales tax is a line item, not a tax sub-footer in the totals section. Your header templates gobble up a ton of real estate; insert some columns so you can provide more product line space on the first page. There are no page numbers to reference once printed/viewed.  Some businesses require lengthy proposals/quotes that can be more than one page, so add page numbers and reference the selling company's name in the header/footer ... its a branding thing. As an FYI, I use sarcasm to get my point across; your product is awesome in so many ways. Hello, Multiple users have uploaded the same document multiple times on HubSpot. We therefore have multiple links directing to the same document. Hi prod dev team, In today's world, prospects and customers are much better engaged by videos for obvious reasons. It would be extremely valuable if you can enhance the feature so that videos can be uploaded to Documents. I know we can work around it by using an embedded link in email but we can't track the duration of watching the video, hence no idea how engaged they are. So please can you enhance the video upload function so we can gauge prospects engagement level? Much appreciated! ...read more
